We got the acting bug! In this episode we review the latest show from Marvel Television: Wonder Man. Spoilers: We loved it. We pick our favorite episodes, our favorite characters, and even play a game. And we only get a little distracted by Strawberry Bonbons, trailers, and possible reboots. Show your love for the West Coast Avengers.
Against the odds, we have returned! In this episode we play catch up on everything we missed while we were gone. 2025 was a wild ride and we do a retrospect on the high and low points of the year. Then we look towards 2026 and all of it's potential (potentially). This will be like riding a bike, right?
We were having some audio issues this episode, so apologies in advance. We are quickly approaching the finale of X-Men '97, and the train is not stopping. This episode is a great lead up, dealing with powerful emotions and showing some great action. But we do get distracted by DC's Absolute power, MCU rumors, and the Fallout show. Hell hath no fury....
Continuing our rewatch of X-Men '97, we have a brief reprieve from the events of last episode. But that doesn't mean things are any better for the X-Men. This episode focuses on Storm and Professor X and their journeys surrounding the main events of the series. We get distracted by the new Supergirl movie, Pokémon conspiracy theories, and Agatha All Along. Class is in session.
We are at the half-way point of the season. This is where things get really interesting. We have a lot to cover this episode so we don't get too distracted. But we take a moment to get distracted by The Boys, OK KO, and Captain Planet and the Planeteers. Get the facial tissues ready, cuz this episode pulls at all of your emotions.
It's a 2-for-1 special for this episode. We look at the fourth episode of X-Men '97 which is split into 2 half-episodes: the light-hearted and nostalgic "Motendo" and the heavier "Lifedeath pt. 1". But we get distracted by Agent Venom, cookouts with Galactus, and the trailer for Venom 3. Choose your hero and get ready!
This episode we talk episode 3 of X-Men '97, or as we like to call it: the Clone Saga. Join us as we talk about 'My Adventures with Superman', the Deadpool popcorn bucket, and mutant registration. Hell hath no fury....
This episode we continue our journey through the new X-men animated series. This episode of the show is filed with great action, great monologues, and great Morphing. But we get distracted by John Cena in Dune, nerd wrestlers, and criminals in Metropolis. The Master of Magentism commands you to listen.
We are back, like Phoenix Jean Grey! And in this episode we talk about X-Men '97, the new animated show on Disney+. We dive into the first episode of the new series with Ruby-quartz glasses on and discuss this wonderful reboot.
In this episode we jump on the nostalgia train and head back to the late 80s and early 90s to revisit the Disney afternoon cartoon block of our childhood. From Gummi Bears to Hercules, we talk about the great Disney cartoons that oversaturated our TVs. But we do get distracted by Zeus, Lance Reddick, and James Franco and Jared Leto. Suck gas, evil-doers!
For this episode, we talk about whitewashing in media. We stick to more recent times (because the further you go back, the worse it gets), and pick out the numerous times in the last 20 years when casting choices made us scratch our heads. The list is so vast we barely have time to get distracted, but we still do by: Scott Adams, Puma Man, and Ultimate Invasion.
This episode we review the MCU movie: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It's sub-dimensional fun for the whole family. Find out how we feel about the kickoff for Phase 5 of the MCU. We stay on task this time, with the only distractions being Superman, Street Fighter, and Rush Hour 5. All hail the Conqueror!
For this episode, we wanted to talk about our experiences with Table Top Role-Playing Games, or TTRPG. We discuss our first time rolling the dice, and some of the best sessions we've had so far. Also, following the Super Bowl, we wanted to go over some of the great (and not-so-great) movie trailers we saw. Inevitably, we get distracted by the Pickard tv show, a Bojack Horseman sandwich, and "Did the Monopoly Man ever have a monocle?"
To celebrate Black History Month, we wanted to focus on BIPOC in fantasy. There are great examples in more recent times, but the pickings were sparse in the 80s and 90s. We talk about some of the favorite characters that we grew up with, and how representation has grown in the last 20 years. We find ourselves getting distracted by James Gunn's DCEU, Pope Palpatine, and Frolicon. We are still waiting on justice for Ray Fisher.....
Season 3 is upon us! After a little break we are back with the good stuff. We spend this episode getting caught up on some of the things we missed while away. Topics include: Avatar 2, Manga and Anime, and Baldur's Gate 3. We also get distracted a lot by Zoe Saldana, Bullet Train, Theodore Rex, KOTOR, and Hallway Bryan. We never doubted you, Sam Worthington.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Marvel Studios latest movie and the last movie of Phase 4 for the MCU. Brittany Dent fills in for hosting duty for Bryan, and helps us unpack everything we saw on the big screen. We also talk about recent news and the possible future of the DCEU under the direction of James Gunn. We get distracted by Juicy Crab, Crunchy vs. Creamy Peanut Butter, and Kwanzaa Cake. Imperius Rex!

We talk about what we liked, and what we loved, and how much we want more. But we somehow manage to get distracted by Black Adam, Tiger Carlson, and Almost Human. Make sure to update your cyberware and bring plenty of eddies.
This episode we talk about the Marvel Studios show 'Ms. Marvel' on Disney+. Everything we like, and everything we don't, and how we feel it fits into the MCU as a whole. With so much to talk about, we still find time to get distracted. Some of our distractions are: the silver surfer in the MCU, the Champions, Rocky and Bullwinkle, the abandoned Batgirl movie, magic in the DC universe, and Hogwarts houses. Let the embiggening commence.
There was a bunch of good nerd news before this episode, so we dive right in and take time to unpack all the goodies. From DC to Marvel, and even anime, we talk about what's out now and what's coming. Eventually we get to our topic: our favorite horror videogames. We have some fun picks, so listen to find out if your favorite made our lists. We manage to stay on topic, and surprisingly have no distractions. Spooky season is in full effect!
