A few weeks ago I took a random Friday off. Instead of doubling down and powering through, I just stopped. I walked around my hometown, a place I've lived in for 20 years, and I felt nothing. No nostalgia, no warmth, no "I'm going to miss this." And that absence of feeling told me something really important: I have completely overstayed my welcome here.A few weeks before that, I was on a morning walk in Palma de Mallorca by the ocean, and it was the complete opposite. I was enjoying every single step. The air felt different. I felt lighter. And as I walked, I started thinking about all the places I've lived, all the offices I've commuted to, and how those places made me feel. Some felt really good. Others felt genuinely terrible. And here's the thing: the jobs with the nicest offices weren't always the ones that felt good.Environment matters. A lot. In life, in career, in business. When we spend significant time in a city, home, or office that doesn't feel right to us, it wears us down. So today we're talking about the importance of environment and how to tune into how you actually feel in a place, plus some fascinating clues from astrology and human design about what kinds of environments your specific energy is designed to thrive in.In this episode, you'll discover:Why your moon sign reveals what you need to feel emotionally nourished and safe The five human design definition types and how they impact your need for people and environmentsThe six human design environment variables and what they mean for your workspaceAstro cartography basics: how planetary lines on a map influence where you feel at homeAnna's personal experience with Mars line (Stockholm) vs. Jupiter line (Palma)Astrological indicators for feeling more at home abroad Why your MC line matters most for career and professional visibilityNote: This episode includes chart examples, so you may want to watch on YouTube. I recently saw a quote supposedly by David Bowie that said, "Aging is an extraordinary process where you become the person you always should have been." And it reminded me of many conversations about age and finding yourself that I've been having over the past few months. So let me ask you something: When do you think people actually find themselves? Like truly find themselves? Is it in your 20s when everything feels wide open? Your 30s when you've collected enough life experience? Your 40s or 50s when you've stopped caring what everyone else thinks? The honest answer is it's different for everyone. But I think the more important question isn't when, it's whether you give yourself permission to actually do it.Today we're talking about age, generations, and the very loaded question of finding your calling. Because there's a lot of noise out there: generational blame, comparison, the sense that you're either too young to know better or too old to start over. And I want to cut through all of that.In this episode, you'll discover:Why every generation brings something valuable (and why generational blame is as old as time itself)The truth about Gen Z: half incredibly ambitious, half unmotivated, and why both stem from the same thingWhy your 30s might actually be your most confusing decade (not your 20s)The surprising return to yourself that happens around 40Astrological transits as developmental checkpoints: Nodal Return (18-19), Saturn Return (27-30), and Uranus Opposition (38-42)Why these cosmic events aren't crises but course correctionsReal stories: working with clients from age 16 to 60 and what they had in commonWhy you're a multifaceted being with more than one calling in this lifetimeWhy it's never too late or too soon to startResources mentioned in this episode:Passion Pattern Framework: For anyone who has lots of interests but can't identify the underlying thread that connects them Cosmic Career Clarity: Five key chart placements showing how your design translates into meaningful work One-on-one intensive sessions: Build your personalized roadmap based on your chart, history, and specific circumstances (link in show notes)Connect with Anna:Website: carrysdotter.comEmail: hello@carrysdotter.comInstagram: @carrysdotter Music: Milk Shake by Coma-Media, licensed through Pixabay © 2026 Carrysdotter Stockholm AB. At the beginning of 2026 everyone was posting their in and out lists for the year. I was listening to a podcast where influencers declared that side hustles are officially out. Their message? Just have a hobby for fun. Stop trying to monetize everything. And look, I agree that everyone needs hobbies. I agree we should do things just for enjoyment. But here's what I really want to talk about: the desire for side hustles is a symptom of something much bigger. It's a desire to break free. And when people dismiss side hustles as some toxic trend that needs to go away, I think they're missing the point entirely. The desire to monetize a hobby isn't the problem. The problem is a work culture so soul crushing that people are desperate for any alternative. The problem is an economic system where one job isn't enough for many people to survive. The problem is a world that told us there was only one right path, and that path is dissolving right in front of us.In this episode, you'll discover:Why sovereignty means choosing what you like regardless of trends (yes, even if matcha photos are "out")The real reason people want to turn hobbies into side hustles (it's not greed, it's your soul saying there has to be another way)Two categories of people: those with existing hobbies and those still searching for their passionReal examples of people who turned hobbies into businesses (and how they did it without rushing)Why fear is a terrible life coach when it comes to your careerHow to start small and support your nervous system while building a side hustleThe Passion Pattern Framework and how it helps you recognize your themes (not find "the one thing")Why wanting more from your work life isn't selfish, it's survival and adaptationResources mentioned in this episode:Passion Pattern Framework: Uncover your patterns and themes to figure out what you're passionate about The Sovereignty Challenge: Five days of practical exercises to help you reclaim your power and make decisions based on what you actually want One-on-one intensive sessions: Personalized guidance on turning your passion into a planConnect with Anna:Website: carrysdotter.comEmail: hello@carrysdotter.comInstagram: @carrysdotter Music: Milk Shake by Coma-Media, licensed through Pixabay © 2026 Carrysdotter Stockholm AB. Are you on the right path in your career, or are you wasting your time? Do you feel like something's just off when you go to work in the morning, yet you numb out and make it work because you're too afraid to confront the truth about your job? This episode is your honest gut check. I'm taking you through a 10-question career alignment assessment to help you determine if your career is aligned with your soul or slowly killing it. And I know that sounds dramatic, but this assessment is meant to be done with compassion. The aim isn't to shame you. It's to give you permission to acknowledge that your so-called good job might actually be the wrong job for you after all.Because this was me. I had great jobs on paper, many times around. Jobs that other people wanted. But they never felt 100% right. It was like one of those itchy clothing labels that irritates your skin. Even if it's a top-end garment, high quality, that uncomfortable feeling just wouldn't go away. My soul knew, and I want to give you permission to admit what your soul might already know.In this episode, you'll discover:The 10 career alignment questionsWhy having a "good job on paper" doesn't mean it's the right job for youHow to tell if your work is energizing or depleting you (regardless of your Human Design energy type)The difference between performing a role and actually being yourself at workWhy meaningful work might matter beyond just getting a paycheckWhat your answers reveal about your career alignment and what to do nextFree Resources mentioned in this episode:Passion Pattern Framework: Perfect if you're not sure what you want to do for a career or feel like you're lacking a clear passion One-on-one sessions: Go in-depth about where you're coming from, your strengths, gifts, and where you actually want to go (link in show notes)Simon Sinek's "Start With Why" TED Talk: Understanding the values behind your work (link in show notes)Connect with Anna:Website: carrysdotter.comEmail: hello@carrysdotter.comInstagram: @carrysdotter Music: Milk Shake by Coma-Media, licensed through Pixabay © 2026 Carrysdotter Stockholm AB.
