Has intimacy taken a backseat in your relationship? Do you feel like you don't have enough energy for sex? Do you feel like sex has become a chore?  In this episode, I show you how to connect intimately with your parter, fast. Especially on those nights when you feel too tired to do anything.  Connect intimately with your partner in  3 easy steps based on the tantric breathing technique.  This is a non-sexual exercise based on breath work that will connect you physically, mentally and emotionally. Detailed instructions below.  The book referenced is Margo Anand's The Art of Sexual Ecstasy - The Path of Sacred Sexuality for Western Lovers.  Tantric Breathing Technique Steps:  1. Partner 1 (man) sits on the floor cross-legged. Use a pillow for back support. Partner 2 sits on his lap, facing him, legs wrapped around his lower back, arms wrapped around his back/shoulders. Partners lean into each other with the middle of forehead touching. Take 3 deep breaths in this position. Continue breathing in this position for the desired time.  2. In the same seated position, each partner takes their left hand and places it over the other partner's heart. Feel the heartbeat. Take 3 deep breaths. Then, imagine the breath circulating energetically in through the mouth with the breath, down to the heart, out to the other partner's heart and up through their breath. Alternate the in and out breaths for a circular motion in this direction, connecting the heart energy with the breath. Continue for the desired time.  3. In the same seated position, repeat the energetic flow of breath in a circular motion in through the mouth and down through the genitals. Create the circular energetic flow through the partners genitals and out through their out breath. Take 3 deep breaths and then continue to alternate the in and out breaths. Remain in the circular energetic flow for desired time.    Next Steps:  Facebook -> Join a supportive community of working moms on their sexual wellness journeys at my free Facebook Group at Intimacy for Working Moms.
Is your sex life with your partner boring and routine? Does sex feel like a chore? Are you in a pattern in your sex life that you want to change? In this episode, I'm sharing my "Get To" approach for sex, a mindset shift that will flip the script from sex being something that you have to do or should do, into something that you get to do.  We explore how much sex you actually want to be having as a busy working mom, and explain positive reasons of why sex is good for you, allowing you to come up with "get to" statements that fit into your current sex life with your partner, so you can start looking forward to sex again!  Next Steps: Please connect with me on Facebook and join our private group at Intimacy for Working Moms to ask questions, share experiences and learn from other women on their sexual wellness journeys.  Connect -> Join our free Facebook Group Intimacy for Working Moms

This episode gives listeners a practical exercise to do with their partners that can increase intimacy and reduce anxiety, starting today. It's called the tantric touch technique, and listeners are guided step by step on how to start and how to make changes if needed.  Ph.D. Barbara Keesling's book Sexual Healing - The Completest Guide to Overcoming Common Sexual Problems, is cited in this episode.  Find the link to Dr. Keesling's book here.   Join my Facebook Group: Intimacy for Working Moms
This episode addresses the root cause of women's experience with low desire or low libido over time and gives some tips on what to do to about it. Sourcing the science from Ph.D. Emily Nagoski's book Come As You Are, this episode introduces the concept of responsive desire versus spontaneous desire, and makes it relatable to busy working moms. Then, the episode explains the concept of sexual brakes and sexual accelerators as key aspects that increase or decrease female desire.  The episode ends by asking women to identify their own sexual brakes and accelerators in their lives and to reflect on how to create space for responsive desire in their current relationship.  Link to Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski, Ph.D.    Join my Facebook Group:  Intimacy for Working Moms
