I never wanted to be on TV. I just wanted to cook for cowboys. But one phone call, while on a ranch, changed all of that. This is how I went from a cowboy ranch cook, to cooking on national TV. I was standing in a pasture in North Texas when a car pulled up mid-shot and Bobby Flay walks right into my scene. I didn't know who he was. Didn't know he was coming. All I knew was my wood stove was loaded, it was 95 degrees, and we were about to find out how tough Bobby Flay really was.WATCH or LISTEN:https://pionairepodcasting.com/cowboycoffeehour/FOLLOW US:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/cowboykentrollinsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/cowboykentrollins/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cowboykentofficial?lang=enIf you are interested in advertising on this podcast email advertising@pionairepodcasting.comTo request Kent and Shannon to be on your Podcast, Radio Show, or TV Show, reach out to talent@pionairepodcasting.com
In this powerful episode, I'm discussing some of my wildest jobs. And two that resulted in near-death experiences. From being buried alive in a sinkhole to freezing in a cow pasture. This isn't just about dirty jobs; it's a profound story of resilience, faith, and the cowboy wisdom that got me through. If you've ever felt stuck or faced overwhelming odds, this story will give you the inspiration to keep climbing the ladder of life and appreciate every breath.WATCH or LISTEN:https://pionairepodcasting.com/cowboycoffeehour/FOLLOW US:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/cowboykentrollinsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/cowboykentrollins/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cowboykentofficial?lang=enIf you are interested in advertising on this podcast email advertising@pionairepodcasting.comTo request Kent and Shannon to be on your Podcast, Radio Show, or TV Show, reach out to talent@pionairepodcasting.comThis podcast is for entertainment purposes only. Were cowboys REALLY like what Hollywood showed us? We're debunking the biggest myths and historical inaccuracies in classic Western movies - and we brought in a real expert to set the record straight! Our special guest, Santee from Arizona Ghost Riders, is a living historian and authentic cowboy culture expert. We're separating Wild West fact from Hollywood fiction. From gunfights to cowboy food, cattle drives to saloon life - you'll never watch a Western the same way again!WATCH or LISTEN:https://pionairepodcasting.com/cowboycoffeehour/FOLLOW US:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/cowboykentrollinsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/cowboykentrollins/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cowboykentofficial?lang=enIf you are interested in advertising on this podcast email advertising@pionairepodcasting.comTo request Kent and Shannon to be on your Podcast, Radio Show, or TV Show, reach out to talent@pionairepodcasting.com
I've cooked through tornadoes, blizzards, and baseball-sized hail, but nothing came close to three days in the Palo Duro Canyon. In this episode, Shannon and I share the storm that nearly broke me, how you can read nature better than any weatherman, and the cowboy coffee recipe so good it made a world-class coffee connoisseur furious.WATCH or LISTEN:https://pionairepodcasting.com/cowboycoffeehour/FOLLOW US:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/cowboykentrollinsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/cowboykentrollins/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cowboykentofficial?lang=enIf you are interested in advertising on this podcast email advertising@pionairepodcasting.comTo request Kent and Shannon to be on your Podcast, Radio Show, or TV Show, reach out to talent@pionairepodcasting.com
I've been a chuckwagon cook for over thirty years, and out on those remote ranches, I'm not just the cook - I'm the doctor, dentist, and psychologist too. In this episode, Shannon and I share some of our favorite cowboy cures: how a pre-1982 penny pulls the poison from a spider bite, why bacon grease belongs in every first aid kit, and the hot toddy recipe that's been quieting coughs since the cattle drive days. These old-time remedies have worked for generations, and we've got the stories to prove it.Disclaimer: We're not medical professionals — always consult a doctor for real medical concerns.WATCH or LISTEN:https://pionairepodcasting.com/cowboycoffeehour/FOLLOW US:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/cowboykentrollinsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/cowboykentrollins/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cowboykentofficial?lang=enIf you are interested in advertising on this podcast email advertising@pionairepodcasting.comTo request Kent and Shannon to be on your Podcast, Radio Show, or TV Show, reach out to talent@pionairepodcasting.com

I met Kent the second day I moved to Altus Ok. My daughter in law took me to the cowboy museum. There was Kent standing outside with his chuck wagon. He was making biscuits. I grew up watching cowboy movies. I was fascinated. what a wonderful welcome to know I am now living where I grew up wishing I lived. Growing up in Chicago my bike was my horse. he was such a kind man. it was a honor to meet you. I love you and your wife's podcast. maybe we will meet up again and maybe I can help you.

Did Mr Kent just quote a Bruno Mars song? That cracked me up! Love what y'all do. Keep being you and sharing your wonderful light with the world. I get so much joy out of your videos and am excited to hear future podcasts!
