Fear, Guilt & Agriculture

Icon, legend, talent… can we find the words to sum up one Jon Toogood? Frontman for one of Aotearoa’s biggest bands of all time, Jon stops in to chat life and music with Oscar ahead of the release of his autobiography “Home Again: My Life & Times In A Band Called Shihad” (available now wherever good books are sold). We can’t tell it all here in the description, so you’ll have to tune in and hear the tales from Jon himself as we tuck in once more on this weeks episode of FGA!

From working with Under The Radar, to being half of the ever prolific production duo Sports Team, to her recent foreign into acting with the national indie gem The Weed Eaters, Annabel has had her fingers all over the creative fields of Aotearoa. Tune in as her and Oscar take it back to where it all began, see where things are at, and diving down some side streets along the way. TUCK IT IN BB!

Musician, producer, and current studio manager at Roundhead, while being a fully rounded human being and good sort. Paddy is part of the bedrock of our local music sense in Aotearoa, and is helping to facilitate an artist focused production process out of one of the most decked out studios in the land. Listen as he and ODK yarn on all things music, life, family, friendship, and all the dross that surrounds it. So kick ye feet us, best adjust the EQ to your liking, and TUCK ON IN!

Joseph is a painter, an artist, a curious soul who works across divides to get to something simmer under the surface in Aotearoa. From his earlier years moving down to the Te Waipounamu and eventually becoming a sheep shearer, to art school and pursuing a creative pathway, Oscar and JR talk through it all and get lost in some fun tangents along the way. As always, get ready… get set… and TUCK TUCK TUCK IN!

This week on the pod we have Silas Futura (aka Silas McClintock). Silas is a creative powerhouse, and part of the crew here at Poynton studios who make this all possible. Oscar and Silas get deep into it. From the reality warping nature of saviour complexes, to the dire importance of valuing art labour. Tuck the flip in and listen to Silas' music, it's very good!https://silasfutura.bandcamp.com/
