There’s something about this season of life that feels… different. At 42, I’m not trying to become someone new anymore. I’m learning how to be honest about who I already am. In this solo episode, I’m sharing some of the truths I’ve come to accept about myself , things I’ve learned, things I’ve unlearned, and things I can no longer pretend I don’t know. Some of them contradict each other. Some of them are still uncomfortable. But all of them feel real. We talk about: •Holding gratitude...
We talk a lot about becoming the person we’re meant to be. But what if part of the journey isn’t about becoming something new? What if it’s about returning to parts of yourself that were always there? In this episode, we explore the idea that life may actually be a journey back to yourself, rediscovering passions, instincts, and pieces of identity that may have been shaped, silenced, or set aside over time. Join us for a thoughtful conversation about identity, growth, and what it really...
In this episode, we ask our mom ten questions about her life, her dreams, her fears, her regrets, and the lessons she’s learned along the way. The goal wasn’t to talk about motherhood, but to understand her more deeply as a woman and as a person. Our hope is that this conversation inspires you to ask the important women in your life these same questions and create space for deeper understanding and connection. Pull up a seat and come sit with us. Two sisters. Big feelings. Real conversa...
After nearly seven years without performing in Jamaica, Chronixx stepped back onto the stage and it got us thinking about the power of a pause. In this episode, we talk about waiting seasons. The kind that feel invisible. The kind that feel painfully visible. The kind where it seems like everyone is watching… but no one really knows what’s happening beneath the surface. We unpack the difference between being buried and being planted. Because sometimes what feels like silence is actually g...
This week, we’re talking about unpopular opinions women don’t always feel safe saying out loud. Like… • Marriage doesn't magically make life easier. • Independence can feel lonely. • Motherhood isn’t always fulfilling. Not to argue. Not to shock. But to explore. Because sometimes the most controversial thing a woman can do is tell the truth about her experience. Pull up a seat. You can sit with us. Two sisters. Big feelings. Real conversations. Seen and Heard is where Tami and T...
What if you didn’t have to edit your feelings down to something more acceptable? In this episode, we unpack the idea that two things (or three… or ten) can be true at once. We introduce the almighty and, the simple shift from “but” to “and” that gives us permission to be whole. Because you can love your life and feel exhausted. You can adore your people and still need space. You can be okay and not okay. This one is for anyone learning how to hold it all with honesty and grace. Pull up a ...
Okay… we’re back. And yes, we’re starting over because that’s kind of our brand as multipotentialites. In this episode, we’re catching up on the year we had (whew), what we learned, and why this year we’re choosing better. More joy, more honesty, more alignment. We’re also sharing what Seen and Heard is becoming: a real space for conversations with therapists, doctors, entrepreneurs, and people just trying to figure life out like the rest of us. It’s cozy, it’s candid, it’s a fr...

Begin again instead. Every time we start over we also attempt to erase our past or erase us or at least parts of us. I know many of us are struggling to forgive ourselves of our past mistakes or struggles or regrets. Or we wish we had been or done differently in the past. But when we look to erase these parts of our story or completely start over, we don't honor who we are today. I would not be this happier, healthier, healing person without my past. I would not be this happier, healthier,...

Hi Friends, I know it's been a while since I've showed up in this space but here I am again. "Tami Tackles Everything" is going through somewhat of a re-brand and in an effort to keep one of the loves of my life (this podcast) going, I've decided to show up with some messy action. I dont have it all figured out nor do I have the perfectly smooth intros and descriptions ready to go, but I do have some lovely episodes that I've recorded on youtube that I plan to make available on this platform ...
Simone Clarke Cooper is often the person asking all the questions. It was my absolute joy to sit with my friend and ask her all the questions for a change. We had a great conversation about how she has gained so much from loss, learning to cherish the "but then" moments and what it means to journey from pain to purpose. A little bit more about Simone: Simone has over 25 years of broadcast experience, and over a decade of corporate communication experience, which has seen her cra...
In December 2019, I got the opportunity to have this beautiful conversation with Sharon Feanny. We spoke about wellness on a whole new level and what Live Fit Live Life Live Love means to her. I have had the pleasure on not only knowing Sharon but also had the chance to experience her awesome programmes like the Shakti Activation 21 Day Detox. I am so happy to announce that starting this week, registration is open. You can visit this link to find out more https://shakti.sharonfeanny.com/shak...
On today's episode, I got a chance to have a conversation with Jessica Hylton Leckie from Jessica In the Kitchen. We recorded this episode back in December 2020 and believe when I say, this was NOT an interview, this was literally a conversation very close to some of the conversations we have had in the past and even recently. I love Jessica's journey from "Corporate to Creative." She started her career in Law and took the plunge into complete creativity by starting her food blog, Jessica I...
I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Adrian McDonald of Lexon Art. When sat down back in December of 2019, we had no idea how long it would take for this episode to come to life...but here it is, in perfect time. Adrian is an Artist, Writer, Film Director…a Philosophical Photographer who's ability to tell stories through his photography and short stories are simply mind blowing. His work not only evokes emotion, it moves you and forces you to ask questions about life as you know it. ...
We are picking back up where we left off. I am so happy to be back and to be joined by two of my faves, Tessanne and Jonno. We cover so many different topics, but generally, we are talking about how we survived this past year. This episode was recorded right before Christmas and my hope is that you relate to us and see your own experience somewhere in-between our words. Like I said, it feels so good to be back and can't wait to continue on this journey with you all. BIG LOVE &...
We wanted to bring this whole journey full circle by coming together again to chat about everything and nothing. I love sitting with these two and this time we are talking about christmas, our traditions and new year resolutions. But we also chat about refried dumplings, horseback riding and vision boarding!!! Say what??? lol. Welcome to our crazy, random world. Hope you all have a VERY MERRY Christmas and enjoy the best of the season. Two sisters. Big feelings. Real conversations. Se...

This episode ladies resonates with me so well, as often times everyone expects so much of you that you don't even fully understand while trying to show up for yourself, all this can cause you to create a cave to crawl into uprooting your confidence as you just fear if your going to fail others or yourself. so yessssss I'm not alone proving also that we're all human regardless of what our social status may be together we will learn, heal and conquer.
😭
I'm so happy you're back, I could cry. I love all the episodes, but the ones with you all together are my faaave. As usual, I could relate to all you said and just looking forward to future episodes 😍 mi love oonuh bad.
Yooow! I looove every single episode but this is the funniest shit ever. Can't even wait to the end to commit.
Thanks Tami and Stacey, I needed this.
To this day a former friend doesn't speak to me. She wanted to visit me the weekend before I returned to work and she had a cold and I told her no. My son is 9 and the relationship never recovered, imagine that.
back rubs lol...
One of the topics I also get asked a lot about from the book and from my coaching clients is about forgiveness and Sandra hit the nail on the head. So in love with this episode
This may be my favorite episode so far. As an author whose book was also about sharing her journey but specifically was writing letters to my son from pregnancy and before he turned 2 deciding to publish, I connected with her so much. I also knew from tla young age, 8, I wanted to publish a book and did it at 38. I connected with EVERY part of this discussion and was reminded of something I need to work on. Absolutely loved this episode. It spoke to me
Love it. As always . The truth is even those of us who know ourselves get lost sometimes because you know what you like to do but you make no time for it and lose sight of it. Suddenly you look up and years have gone by and you realise you don't even know if you still enjoy those things. As always relatable. Thanks for the reminder
Tami, really honest episode as usual- I am just catching up- loving this though- keep it up!! With regard to the parenting - sigh- for me it is a work in progress- and what I have learnt is that it is ME who is the work in progress- cus the kids (I have girls 14 and 11) do what I do more so than what I say- so living intentionally and by example forces me to be conscious of my own behavious....the rest I take day by day....and ultimately I see them as being good ..with good hearts, an appreciation of all things (others, environment, etc) and also being kind and for me all I want are good kids and happy functional adults...and most inportant lead with LOVE...
Tami, your voice and jonno's take is so soothing to listen to. this is such a minimal thing but I love that I can tell you recorded this at night because of the whistling frog. makes me miss home a little more.
Tammy, I'm really loving your podcast and have been sharing episodes with family and friends. With regards to this particular episode, there are a lot of areas you brought up that truly resonate with me as a parent. One of them is viewing your kids as their own version of themselves as opposed to a reflection of you and your wants/desires in life. Also, stepping back and parenting your kids based on what works with their personality. I'm so glad you brought up parenting each child differently bc that's a very important aspect to be mindful of. One area I'm curious to get your opinion on is whether you & Wayne have a similar parenting style and if not, how do you come to a compromise. I can see this also applying to co-parenting after a split or when it comes to kids from a previous relationship. So what are your thoughts on this aspect of the parenting dilemma?!
Hey Tammy. Really nice episode. I could identify with quite of the few things you mentioned - how my parenting style changed over time with reading and being exposed to diff perspectives and the whole dilemma of our style being diff from our parents style. One of the things I hope you tackle next time you look at parenting is the way people can be ultra insensitive and unthinking with the comments they make to kids. They dont even realize that what may be funny to them can be mean and difficult for kids to process. Comparsons to siblings and others, comments about weight, and mean humour (teasing). It happens all the time.
"If I am being completely honest, I am addicted. Love the content.
Where's episode 4??! 😭
