Description

In Nov' 2025, I had a rare empty weekend with zero plans and, as an extrovert who likes to socialise, I found myself thinking, 'I wish I could meet up with some new people right now and go do something fun!'. I knew if I was feeling that pull for new connection, others would be too. So, I put together a simple message, shared it immediately in a FB group and within 24 hours, 100 people had already joined my new community. It's been growing fast ever since. Rebel Rising takes you behind the scenes of growing and monetising this IRL community, REBEL IRL, to 1k members in year one. Come follow!

This week wasn’t the episode I expected to record. There’s been a sudden escalation here in the Middle East, which means parts of the city have effectively shut down, events are uncertain, and daily life looks very different from just a few days ago.As someone building a community in Tel Aviv, it’s forced me to think about something I hadn’t fully considered before: what happens to a community when the normal rhythm of life is interrupted. In this episode I’m sharing what the last few days have looked like behind the scenes of REBEL IRL, from small spontaneous meetups and check-ins inside the group, to the real decisions that come with leading a community when things suddenly feel uncertain.Because this week made something very clear to me.Events are the fun part. But community is what matters when life gets complicated. This is a real-time reflection on connection, leadership, and the role community can play when people need it most.Connect with me on socials ↓LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/gracelancerInstagram:www.instagram.com/gracelancercoachingwww.instagram.com/rebelirlcommunity
A conversation with my brother 5 days ago completely called me out, and it instantly changed how I’m building Rebel IRL overnight.I realised I’d been doing what most founders do…quietly judging long-term dreams by short-term results. Ticket sales. Weekly wins. Momentum that feels slower than your ambition. In this episode, I’m talking about the personal shift I've made this week, from chasing quick validation to thinking like someone who’s actually building reputation, community, and something that lasts. When you stop obsessing over what happened this week, you start showing up differently. You make braver decisions. You trust the process more. And you finally relax into building something bigger than immediate proof. If you’ve ever felt impatient with your own growth, wondered why things aren’t moving fast enough, or secretly know you’re playing a much bigger game than your current results suggest, this one’s for you.Connect with me on socials ↓LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/gracelancerInstagram:www.instagram.com/gracelancercoachingwww.instagram.com/rebelirlcommunity
This week, REBEL IRL became real. Like, actually, legit real.I hosted my first two Rebel IRL events. They taught me way more than I expected. Not about logistics or ticket links or how many chairs to set out…but about people. Why they actually say yes. What they’re craving. And what makes a room go from awkward strangers to “wait, I don’t want this to end.”In this episode, I’m breaking down what really happened at the cookery event and the Shabbat dinner, the raw feedback people gave me, and how I've realised this isn’t just “running events” anymore. It’s becoming something bigger. Way bigger. If you’re curious what actually makes people show up to event, refer their friends over, and actually come back, this one’s for you.Connect with me on socials ↓LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/gracelancerInstagram:www.instagram.com/gracelancercoachingwww.instagram.com/rebelirlcommunity
You know that moment after you launch something you care deeply about…and then you check the ticket sales…and it’s quieter than you hoped?Yeah. That.In this episode, I’m talking openly about the emotional reality of slow ticket sales. Because you are on this journey with me, and I'm here for total honesty. Building something meaningful in the real world doesn’t always (or usually) come with instant validation, and learning how to manage your own expectations is part of becoming the person capable of leading it.I'm sharing what’s been going through my mind as I host my first Rebel IRL experiences, the pressure we put on numbers, and the shift I’ve had to make to stop measuring success purely by how fast something fills.Reminder that community isn’t built in one night. It’s built through consistency, trust, and people coming back.If you’ve ever launched something and had the fear, “What if no one comes?”, this episode is for you.Connect with me on socials ↓LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/gracelancerInstagram:www.instagram.com/gracelancercoachingwww.instagram.com/rebelirlcommunity
In this episode of Rebel Rising, I’m taking you properly behind the scenes of what I’m building in real time.3 months ago, I launched an IRL community with a clear goal: to grow and monetise it to 1,000 members within its first year. This episode isn’t theory, hype, or a “perfect plan”. It’s the honest thinking, decisions, and lessons behind how it’s actually unfolding in REAL time.I talk about why I chose IRL as a strategic move, what most people get wrong about community, how I’ve approached growth and monetisation without it feeling gross, and the realities of leading people when you can’t please everyone.Think of this episode as a voice note from a friend (like all of them!) who’s building it as she goes. Sharing what’s working, what’s been harder than expected, and what I’m learning along the way.Connect with me on socials ↓LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/gracelancerInstagram:www.instagram.com/gracelancercoachingwww.instagram.com/rebelirlcommunity
IRL is coming back, babbyyyyy 😎 Something has changed in the way marketing feels, and most people can sense it, even if they can’t quite explain it yet (they can. Hint: AI fatigue)In this episode of Rebel Rising, I’m breaking down the cultural shift happening right now, and why online-only strategies are no longer enough in 2026.This isn’t an anti-AI or anti-online rant. (I love both). It’s a conversation about trust, connection, and why real-world experiences are becoming the missing layer in modern marketing, especially for those who have naturally magnetic personalities that convert fast when you get in the right rooms. We talk about AI fatigue, why people are getting bored of online marketing, and what’s actually broken in the attention economy. AND, I explain why IRL isn’t a replacement for online; it’s the amplifier that turns visibility into trust and trust into loyalty faster than a handful of social media posts. This episode sets the context for everything that follows in the podcast, especially the behind-the-scenes journey of building and monetising an IRL community in real time.Connect with me on socials ↓LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/gracelancerInstagram:www.instagram.com/gracelancercoachingwww.instagram.com/rebelirlcommunity

This episode is the real beginning of Rebel Rising. Not the polished origin story. The honest one.In this first episode, I’m sharing how this podcast came to be: why I re-recorded this episode 2 months later, why every episode is recorded in one take with zero edits, and why the purpose of Rebel Rising has evolved into something much bigger than just “telling my story.”You’ll hear about the two pivotal chapters that shaped everything I’m building today:First: being hired for my personality in corporate, then slowly pushed out when that same personality no longer fit a more rigid, corporate system. And second: moving to Tel Aviv knowing absolutely no one, building a life from scratch, and learning first-hand how essential community, belonging, and real connection actually are. This episode sets the foundation for the entire podcast, and for the journey I’m documenting in real time: building and monetising an IRL community to 1,000 people in its first year.No sugarcoating. No edits.Just real thoughts, shared as they are, in real time.Connect with me on socials ↓LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/gracelancerInstagram:www.instagram.com/gracelancercoachingwww.instagram.com/rebelirlcommunity
