Description

Throughout childhood, a step-by-step process of ‘what-next’ has been laid out pretty well for us. In school, it’s about moving up from one grade to another and scoring well in the board years. Post that, it is all about college. And then suddenly, you find yourself throwing your graduation cap up in the air, not knowing what life is going to be throwing at you next.

Here at Freshly Brewed, we are going to take a deep dive into life after college, to understand how various 'freshly brewed adults' our age are rapping their head around the term ‘adulting’ and figuring out life for themselves.

This one’s with my dad — who’s honestly responsible for a lot of self-awareness. We talk about vision boards, goal planning, and how to approach the year without it feeling overwhelming, or like you need to have everything figured out.I've been doing this special exercise of goal planning with him for a while now, and it’s genuinely shaped how I think about goals. We did the exercise live together in this episode, and like always, something about it just… shifts things for me, helps me become more clearer about what I want to achieve. If you’re in your 20s, feeling a bit lost, unsure, or stuck between planning everything and avoiding it altogether — this conversation might help, or at least make you feel a little less alone. Just take a pen and paper and do it once, you might come back to realize how it changed your life for the better.
Feeling stuck in your career and not sure what you actually want? Same. After 3 years in my first corporate job, I found myself in this weird limbo - wanting something different but having no idea what. So I did what any confused 20-something would do: I sat down with a reflection exercise lol. In this episode, I'm walking you through 5 questions I asked myself that actually helped me get some clarity. Not perfect answers, but enough direction to realize what I value, what energizes me, and what I'm running toward vs. running away from. This isn't about having it all figured out. It's about giving yourself the permission to actually think about what you want - without the pressure, the "reality checks," or the shame.Grab a journal, pause between questions, and do this with me. You might surprise yourself with what comes up.
Sunday Scaries: Taking Control When Everything Feels ChaoticYou know that feeling when it hits 5pm on Sunday and suddenly your chest tightens? One work notification and the rest of your evening is gone—just consumed by anxiety about the week ahead. That's the Sunday Scaries, and they're so real.In this episode, I'm talking about why Sunday evenings started feeling like a countdown instead of a pause, what this anxiety is actually trying to tell you, and the things that helped me take back control. If you're listening to this on a Sunday night while already spiraling about the coming week - this one's for you.
I turned 24 in September, and honestly? I'm still wrapping my head around it. Growing up, birthdays were all about celebration, surprises, and feeling like the center of attention. But somewhere along the way, that charm started fading. Now birthdays feel less like a party and more like a checkpoint—a moment to sit with myself and reflect on where I was versus where I am.In this episode, I'm getting real about birthdays shifting from external celebration to internal reflection, the pressure of making your own birthday special, and why adult birthdays actually feel more meaningful (even if they're messier).
Adult friendships are messy. You’re busy, tired, emotionally maxed out—and suddenly replying to a text feels like a task on your to-do list.In this solo episode, I’m unpacking why friendships get so complicated in your 20s and 30s. We talk about the role of proximity in friendships, the transition to post-college life, guilt of flaking, outgrowing friendships as well as if there is any way to redefine it, without putting pressure on both parties.⠀If you’ve ever felt lonely, nostalgic, or just confused about where you stand with your people… this one’s for you.Tune in now, and let’s figure it out together. ☕💌 #FreshlyBrewedPodcast
