In this episode, I sit down with 1P client Lee Wells - co-founder of a logistics business, husband, dad, and someone who, on paper, had everything in a good place. Business was doing well, family life was solid, and nothing was obviously wrong. But something was off. He knew he wasn’t operating at his best, and that there was more in the tank if he could just get things to stick. We get into the cycle a lot of men fall into. Going all in, pushing hard for a few weeks, then work and life take over and everything drops off.Lee realised the problem wasn’t effort or motivation. It was the approach.Doing less, but doing it consistently, changed everything. Not perfectly, not every day, but enough to build momentum and actually maintain it.Once that clicked, everything else started to feel easier. Work, home life, and how he handled pressure all improved as a result.…And if you need help getting consistent, that’s exactly what I do, click the link below to find out more:www.theone-percent.com
In this episode, I sit down with 1P client David Houghton - freelance director, cinematographer, dad, and someone who found himself stuck in a pattern a lot of men fall into. Work was busy, life was full, and without really noticing it, he’d stopped taking care of himself. Then things slowed down and instead of feeling better, it got worse. More stress, more overthinking, more pressure. We get into why that happens and what actually needs to change.Because his situation didn’t suddenly improve. Work was still inconsistent and the pressure was still there. The difference was how he handled it.Getting some structure back, doing the basics properly, and giving himself a bit of space changed everything. Not in a dramatic way - just enough to feel back in control and deal with what was in front of him.…Click the link below to see how I can help you control the controllables and let go of what you can’t:www.theone-percent.com
In this episode, Tom Kiddle is back on the podcast talking through the last 18 months - from being in the c-suite selling a business, leaving corporate, and stepping into the reality of building something from scratch. We get into the illusion of control, the emotional swings of running your own business, and why so many high performers hide behind “working hard” while personal standards slip. And how that makes everything else worse. The shift?Focus on what you can control.Accept what you can’t.And stop using work as an excuse to let the rest of your life fall apart.…Click the link below to see how I can help you control the controllables and let go of what you can’t:www.theone-percent.com
Good intentions pissed the bed and blamed it on the sheets. You are what you repeatedly do. Not what you intend to do.Intentions don’t fix marriages.Intentions don’t grow businesses.Intentions don’t build physiques.Intentions don’t change anything.Behaviour does.So if you’re not getting the outcome you want, it has f**k all to do with your intentions and everything to do with your behaviour.Good intentions without aligned behaviour are just delusional noise.…Click the link below to find out more about how I can help you start applying action to your intentions.www.theone-percent.com

Episode 50. A milestone. So this week, I’m flipping the script - and bringing on someone who coached me.Tim Drummond was my coach years ago. I joined his program thinking I’d get strategy, systems, a business plan. What I got was something else entirely. He helped me see what I couldn’t. Held up the mirror. Asked the questions I didn’t want to answer. And laid the foundations for everything The One Percent has become. This episode isn’t about tactics. It’s about what real coaching looks like.We cover:Why the best coaches don’t give answers - they help you ask better questionsHow mindset and self-awareness drive every part of business and lifeThe danger of building a life that looks good, but doesn’t feel goodWhy group coaching often beats 1:1 - and how it changed meThe difference between shouting for change - and holding space for itIf you’ve ever wondered what coaching actually is - or what it really means to lead yourself - this episode shows you.Find out about what I do here:www.theone-percent.comAnd you can find out about Tim here:https://www.linkedin.com/in/timdrummondcom/
One year. 49 episodes.
