There Is No Quick Fix!

Change is hard—but staying stuck is harder. In this episode of Goodbye Works, I break down the truth about personal growth, self improvement, and why there is no quick fix to changing your life. We live in a world that pushes shortcuts, instant gratification, and easy solutions—but real change takes time, discipline, and action. If you’ve been feeling stuck, unmotivated, or waiting for something to magically fix your life, this message is for you. This episode dives into how to stop chasing quick fixes and start building real habits that lead to long-term success. Learn how to take control of your life, create a plan, improve your mindset, and take small steps that actually move you forward. You don’t need to be perfect—you just need to start. Real change happens when you take action, stay consistent, and focus on becoming better every day. If you’re serious about changing your life, building better habits, improving your mindset, and creating real results—this is where it starts.
Why did God give humans time? In this episode of Goodbye Works, we explore one of the biggest questions about life: why we exist and why our time on Earth is so short. The Bible says that to God a thousand years is like a day (2 Peter 3:8), showing that God exists outside of time. Yet humans live inside a limited lifespan of about 70–80 years (Psalm 90:10). Science even shows that gravity can slow time, meaning our experience of time is tied to the physical world we live in. So what if time itself is part of God’s design? This episode explores the idea that time may be a test before eternity—a short opportunity for humanity to seek truth, understand God, and rediscover the relationship we were meant to have with Him. Most people spend their lives distracted by entertainment, money, and status. But the real question is: Are we using our time wisely, or just entertaining ourselves until it runs out?
Bad communication ends a lot of good things. Many relationships, friendships, and even families don’t fall apart because people stop caring about each other. They fall apart because people stop understanding each other. In this episode of Goodbye Works, we talk about the real problem behind many conflicts in life — poor communication. Communication isn’t just about talking. Real communication means listening, understanding tone, reading body language, and being honest about what we feel. When communication breaks down, misunderstandings grow, emotions build up, and small problems turn into major conflicts. In this conversation we explore why communication is one of the most important skills in life and how learning to communicate better can improve your relationships, your mindset, and your ability to connect with people. Whether it’s a relationship, a friendship, family dynamics, or everyday conversations, the way we communicate shapes the outcome. Topics in this episode include: • How to communicate better in relationships • Why poor communication causes arguments and conflict • The importance of listening in communication • How misunderstandings destroy good relationships • Emotional intelligence and communication skills • How honesty and clarity build trust • Why tone, timing, and body language matter • Self-awareness and personal growth through better communication Goodbye Works is about personal growth, awareness, and becoming a better version of yourself. Sometimes the biggest change we can make in our lives isn’t changing the people around us — it’s changing the way we communicate with them. If you want stronger relationships, less conflict, and deeper understanding with the people in your life, learning how to communicate better is one of the most powerful skills you can develop. #communication #relationships #selfimprovement #personalgrowth #communicationtips #relationshipadvice
Depression is one of the most silent battles a person can fight. From the outside, everything can look normal… but inside the mind, the weight can feel overwhelming. In this episode of Goodbye Works, we talk about what depression really is, why so many people experience it, and how it can quietly take control of the way we see ourselves and the world around us. But sometimes the darkest moments in life are also signals that something needs to change. The environment we’re in, the direction we’re going, or the way we see ourselves. Goodbye Works is about transformation — saying goodbye to the parts of life that are no longer serving us so we can grow into something stronger. If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. And the chapter you’re in right now does not define the rest of your story.
Tonight’s episode is about empathy and how so many of us human beings should go back to knowing how to feel deeply for others when they need it the most. I also talk about a great friend / artist named Angel in south philly who I looked up to that also molded who i am today. #Angel #art #southphilly #goodbyeworks #podcast #life #change #empathy #rightminded
In a world that confuses love with attraction, lust, and temporary feelings… what does real love actually mean? Love is patient, love is kind…” — I explain how true love goes far beyond physical desire. Love isn’t just chemistry. It isn’t just emotion. It isn’t just words. Real love has character. Real love has weight. Real love requires sacrifice. This episode challenges the way we view relationships and reminds us that love is one of the most powerful forces we’ll ever experience.
It was chaotic, embarrassing, and honestly kind of hilarious — trying to find it before having to face the public. But that moment made me think about something deeper. When a piece of us is missing — confidence, identity, purpose, even something small — we don't always act like ourselves. Sometimes we get quiet. Sometimes angry. Sometimes we don't even realize we're off. In this episode of The In Between, I tell the story, then talk about how we recognize those moments in life - and how we practice getting back to ourselves instead of staying stuck. These are the moments in between who we were and who we're becoming.
Growing up, I had a lot of influences in my life. Some good. Some bad. And some that could've taken me down the wrong road if I kept listening. In this episode, I talk about the mentors who changed the direction of my life-from teachers, to people I worked with at a pizza shop, some YouTubers and at some point my parents. I also talk about the people I shouldn't have followed, and what I learned from that too. This isn't about having everything figured out. It's about being willing to listen, learn, and actually act on good advice from the right people. One voice, one mentor, one example can completely change the course of your life-if you let it. If you're feeling stuck, lost, or unsure who to listen to, this episode might help you rethink the voices shaping your future. follow me on Podbean as well https://goodbyeworks.podbean.com Rock Church / Miles McPherson https://youtu.be/nXt9SxOYGAo?si=Pi8kZdr1y78ILvjy Bedros Keuillian https://youtu.be/m8yyDzHIDog?si=AdL04U10yKsj0fGg
There was a time when life felt simple. One week we were together, laughing, creating, dreaming — and the next, he was gone. We don’t always realize when it’s the last time we’ll see someone. This is a reflection on friendship, loss, and the value of life — before it’s gone.
Words have weight

Words have weight

What we say matters more than we realize. In this episode, I talk about how words carry weight, how they can shape someone’s life, and why pausing before you speak can change the impact you have on the people around you. This isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being aware. #change #goodbyeworks #podcast #changeyourlife #motivation #listening
In this episode, I talk about how anger changes the way we listen. When we’re triggered, we don’t actually hear what’s being said — we hear it through emotion, past wounds, and defense. I break down how reacting instead of listening keeps us stuck, disconnected, and divided, and why awareness is the first step back to being human again. This isn’t about fixing others — it’s about recognizing the filter we’re using and learning how to let it go.
....Saying Goodbye to the old you. How I came up with the name.. life is like a train and sometimes we get off at a stop and stay there way too long…. #goodbyeworks #change #changeyourlife #realliving #God
This isn't about money, business, or success. It's about changing direction as a person. In this first episode, I talk briefly about why I started this.... some of my experiences that finally brought me to this decision. Most people are just going through the motions of life and never even questioning it. This is about seeing the world differently and deciding to see who you really are in this short life that we live.
