<p>Roslyn's shares her experiences at the dinner table receiving large portions from large pots and casseroles of her mother's traditional and non-traditional cooking. First generation kitchens often produce large scale meal prep to serve not just the immediate family, but extended family, and sometimes even the broader community gatherings. It is quite normal to see massive batches of food being prepared for birthdays, holidays, or even cultural celebrations with lots of storytelling, laughter, and a sense of duty to keep traditions alive. </p>
