This show is about truth. Period. The purpose is to bring vulnerable & challenging conversations to the surface. The hope is to invite us all to have more of them. Though these episodes are hosted by a man, with a male perspective, the content is for everyone. It is for anyone wanting to step into these sticky areas. The goal is to have safe & honest conversations about the places we would prefer not to go. Love is the answer to holding this space, and that will be lens these conversations are held in. Today I chat with Dan Marcenko. Dan was a phenomenal conversationalist from the moment I met him. He thinks deeply, critically and no topic is off limits. Today we cover everything from his journey into sobriety, hunting meets spirituality, working with folks in recovery and using the love for his partner as a catalyst for growth. I love this man. Today, I dive into the art of holding space. For me it is the greatest gift you can give another. Witness them, honour them and love them through it all. Holding space is how we can all enter into harder topics. This is how we have important conversations without them turning into arguments.
