Description

YES, WOMAN is the home for women to be outrageously happy. Where we stop pretending we're fine and start telling the truth about what we desire - and what we deserve.

For the woman who "has it all" on paper, but knows there's more - more joy, more pleasure, more aliveness… for the woman who has lived and loved and lost… for the midlife woman who is done pretending to be "fine" so that you can fly FREE… you're in the right place.

Here we are bold, raw and real about everything WOMAN - s*x, motherhood, menopause, money, grief, success, love, power, pleasure, and becoming.

After more than 700,000 downloads of Season 1, "The PurposeGirl Podcast", and a season of profound personal loss and growth, Carin Rockind returns with deeper truth and sharper clarity. She has a master's degree in the science of happiness and a devotion to the divine feminine, bridging the gap between positive psychology and the soul of a woman — science and spirit — resilience and radiance.

She'll be your best friend, your confidant, your coach. This isn't just about "finding" your purpose anymore. It's about saying yes to your whole life.

Through unfiltered conversations, powerful interviews, and practical tools rooted in both research and lived experience, YES, WOMAN invites you to stop shrinking, stop waiting, and start living as the WOMAN you were born to be.

Welcome Sister.

In this deeply personal episode, I take you inside my own journey from being the perfect child, to chasing the perfect life, to realizing none of it actually made me happy. What if the most radical thing a WOMAN could do… is say YES to herself? In the very first episode of YES, WOMAN - Carin Rockind asks a bold question: Why are we alive if not to feel that full-bodied, radiant YES about our own lives? As the founder and CEO of the Institute of WOMAN, Carin Rockind has spent over 15 years working with thousands of women and she's seen the same pattern again and again: WOMEN say NO to themselves & say YES to everyone else. In this deeply personal and powerful opening episode, Carin shares: Why saying NO collapses the body—and YES brings us back to life How childhood conditioning trains women to silence desire, truth, and joy The hidden link between suppressed dreams and depression Why "selfish" has been weaponized against women—and why it's time to reclaim it How one near-death experience became the moment she vowed to never say NO to her purpose again This episode is a call home for every WOMAN who: Feels numb, flat, or quietly unfulfilled Has dreams she's been minimizing or postponing Because here's the truth: A lit up WOMAN lights up this world. This is not about being a YES WOMAN to everyone else. This is YES, WOMANa movement, a mindset, and a permission slip to say YES to your truth, your desires, your body, your dreams, and your life. Welcome to YES, WOMAN. Your YES starts here.   If this episode spoke to you - connect with Carin and the Institute of WOMAN Subscribe to YES, WOMAN so you never miss an episode. What if this year is asking you to shed your old life and step into the WOMAN you were always meant to be? In this episode of the YES, WOMAN Podcast, Carina explores the powerful symbolism of the Year of the Fire Horse, a rare energetic combination that represents movement, courage, passion, and bold new beginnings. After the completion of a nine-year cycle, we are entering a moment of ignition. A time when many women feel a deep pull toward reinvention, purpose, and personal freedom. But before we step forward, we often have to shed the beliefs, stories, and expectations that have kept us small. This episode dives into the deeper meaning of cycles, transformation, feminine power, and why this moment in history is calling WOMEN to rise. If you've been craving more purpose, more aliveness, more truth, or a midlife reinvention, this conversation will help you understand why that calling is showing up now—and how to say YES to it. In This Episode Carina explores: Why the transition into a new numerology cycle signals a time for bold new beginnings The deeper symbolism of the Year of the Snake and why shedding old identities is necessary for growth How women's natural cycles mirror transformation, rebirth, and renewal The cultural story of Eve, knowledge, and the historical suppression of women's desire for more The psychological concept of learned helplessness and how it keeps many WOMEN stuck Why the Fire Horse energy represents movement, passion, creativity, and leadership How to recognize when your soul is calling you toward a new life or purpose The power of taking small courageous actions that ignite transformation The Big Message The Fire Horse energy is about momentum, courage, and living fully alive. It doesn't tolerate stagnation. It burns away what no longer serves. This year invites every WOMAN to ask: What am I ready to shed? What life is calling me forward? What would it look like to say YES to myself now? Sometimes saying yes looks bold and visible. Sometimes it's quiet and personal. But every step toward your truth creates momentum. What if the reason women are obsessed with certain love stories has nothing to do with fantasy and everything to do with the kind of love we secretly crave? In this episode of YES, WOMAN, Carina sits down with love coach Taylor Carr for a fascinating conversation about relationships, desire, and the deeper truths behind why women respond so strongly to powerful love stories like Heated Rivalry.  Exploring Love and Relationship… Together they explore masculine and feminine dynamics, the psychology of attraction, and how women can create deeper intimacy and passion in their own relationships. This conversation is equal parts spicy, insightful, and empowering. If you've ever wondered: Why certain love stories feel so magnetic Why tension and yearning can feel intoxicating Why women often lose themselves in relationships How to reignite passion in a long-term partnership This episode will open your eyes. In This Episode You'll Discover Why women are captivated by certain love stories Carina and Taylor explore why so many women are drawn to narratives filled with tension, vulnerability, desire, and emotional depth—and what those stories reveal about what women truly want from love. The power of masculine–feminine dynamics Taylor shares insights from her work as a love coach about how polarity, emotional maturity, and vulnerability shape attraction and long-term relationships. The three things every WOMAN wants in love During the conversation they uncover a powerful truth: many women long to feel Desired Devoted to Devoured And why those elements matter for deep intimacy. Why many relationships lose their spark One of the biggest insights in this episode: women often lose themselves in relationships—and that's when resentment and disconnection begin. Men fall in love with a woman who loves herself. When she forgets herself, the dynamic shifts. How to reignite passion in long-term relationships Taylor shares simple but powerful shifts that can transform relationships, including: Asking directly for what you want Letting men rise instead of managing them Reclaiming your own desires and identity Key Takeaways • The most magnetic WOMAN is the one deeply connected to herself • Desire thrives on tension, curiosity, and emotional honesty • Trying to control or manage a partner often kills attraction • Self-love is not selfish—it's the foundation of a thriving relationship • The deepest love story always begins with you As Taylor beautifully says in this episode: "Your deepest love story always begins with you." Exploring Love and Relationship… About Taylor Carr Taylor Carr is a love coach who helps women create deeper, more magnetic relationships through understanding masculine and feminine dynamics, self-worth, and emotional maturity. She works with women from all walks of life—from CEOs to creatives—to help them call in the love they truly desire. In honor of Pride month here in the US, I wanted to bring you a genuine conversation with a number of dear friends of mine about our own discoveries about our places in the LGBTQIA+ universe. We're having a frank, open discussion about our experiences, our joys, our struggles, and so much more. Regardless of how you (or those in your lives) identify, these issues touch all of us, and I want to help bring greater understanding to my community and to all those whose lives you touch. I'm joined by three amazing guests – not "experts" per se, simply real people: Kelly Mahalak, Cassandra Coghill, and Chivas Sandage – as we dive into: Our own journeys to self-discovery The terms we use to describe ourselves, and the challenges in using these terms Compulsory heterosexuality Coming out is not a one-time thing The privilege and curse of "passing" The many joys in our lives related to our queerness Laughter. Tears. Deep truths. This conversation has it all!!! About Cassandra A. Coghill I am Cassandra A. Coghill, a Relationship Alchemist and Intimacy Guide. I am a healer, a priestess, and a witch. I have a Bachelor's degree in Women and Gender Studies, with a minor in Human Development and Family Science, from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. (Go Bison!)  While attending college, I became a certified Reiki Master Practitioner and gave birth to my first child. While pregnant with my second child, I was initiated onto the path of priestesshood at the Goddess Temple of Ashland, Oregon. I am also an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church. A powerful inner call to understand the mysteries of life lead me into the study of metaphysics and the occult from a young age. I have been a practicing solitary white witch for the past 11 years. I have studied the Tarot since 2014 and consult it and other oracles for myself and my clients regularly. I work with the so-called "classical" or "Western" elements of Air, Water, Fire and Earth in nearly everything I do. My love for the so-called "Eastern" traditions runs deep (I've studied yoga, tantra, ayurveda, traditional chinese medicine, feng shui and Buddhist philosophy informally but extensively); but, as a person of predominantly British ancestry, the deepest and most powerful magick I bring forth tends to be drawn from ancient, indigenous European traditions, rituals, symbologies and myths. I commune with angels, dance with faeries and sing the songs of my ancestors regularly." Play comes naturally to most children, but as we get older, playfulness, zest, tends to diminish. We get stuck in responsibilities, or maybe you feel like play is frivolous. But then you also end up feeling unhappy and depressed and play is a way out of it. The power of play can really help us live more enjoyable, fulfilling, and even productive lives. My two guests today, Elaine O'Brien and Andrea Seydel, are not only dear friends of mine, but they just coauthored a book on this, and I am so thrilled to have them share their wisdom with you! Today we're discussing: Why we lose our sense of play as we get older Why play is so important to our wellbeing Reconnecting to how we like to play Easy ways to bring more play into our lives The value of "micromoments" How we can adopt a play mindset The scientific argument for play Why play is crucial to getting through challenging times About Elaine O'Brien Dr. Elaine O'Brien is one of the most informed academics, theorists, and practitioners on the intersection of positive movement, fitness, vitality, mental and physical health, and zesty aging. I grew up the grandchild of Holocaust survivors. My grandparents fled Europe and came to the United States with nothing, and their experiences understandably left them with concerns about money and scarcity. Some of this rubbed off on me, along with my own experiences growing up around people who had far more money than I did (not that I wanted for anything). And as a result, I ended up with my own set of issues around money. Today's episode is a bit of a departure for me, since I rarely focus on money, but that's what we're diving into today. Join me as I talk all about: Power leaks around money Conscious women with money are going to save this world Why I want more money... And what is YOUR secret desire for money? You ever have that feeling that you should be happier than you are? Maybe you think that in general, things are going pretty OK in your life, and for sure a lot of people have it worse than you do, and yet you feel like you should be happier? You wonder what's wrong with you? I'll out myself and say that yes, I've been there many times in my life. If this at all resonates for you, then I've got the best guest for you! Today I'm sitting down with Dominique Velasquez to talk about: The guilt that comes from feeling that you have no good reason to be anxious or unhappy The search for external validation Her struggles with opioids Her amazing recovery (and how my podcast helped!!! – I am so grateful to know this!!!) Her key understanding that the problem is not the circumstance in which we find ourselves, it's… (you'll have to listen to hear the rest!) The devastating effect of shame How the tools that Dominique has developed help other women to feel fulfilled and whole inside Dominique's PIVOTT program About Dominique Velasquez I spent my life trying to prove my worth by achieving things. However, there was no achievement big enough to fill the hole I had in my heart. I kept feeling empty like something was missing, and I just could not figure out why. I'd smile and put on a happy face to the world, but internally I was dying. In 2010 I got diagnosed with endometriosis, & quickly found myself fully addicted to opiates in desperation to numb the pain. At that time in my life, I looked to have it all, but I felt empty & unfulfilled! Constantly thinking "What is wrong with me?" I was dripping in shame from living a double life, pretending to be fine. The shame of being found out stopped me from seeking the treatment that I desperately wanted. I truly believed that my worth came from outside of me. Then I discovered self-development, and my life took a 180-degree pivot. I quickly learned that everything I needed was inside me and that I am the creator of my life. My purpose is to guide women in discovering that everything they need is inside them. 232 VISIONARY Masterclass

232 VISIONARY Masterclass

2023-04-2001:21:52

I didn't build my business on social media - I built it by speaking on stages. My big dream was to be impactful like Oprah, and though I had no mentor, I figured it out. I spoke at AVON and for Victoria's Secret execs. For Capital One and at Women's conferences.  I LOVED IT! I made an impact, I made money, AND, nearly every time I spoke, I got clients! But then… I kept seeing all of these other coaches making $1 Million in 6 months! I felt so inadequate. Ads started screaming at me on Facebook: Get 10,000 followers! Get my cash coach system! My brain start obsessing about social media posts and (ugh -) Likes. I felt like a loser and even though my business did "well" I felt rotten. When companies shut down during the pandemic, speaking was off the table - So I hired an expensive coach who got me to raise my prices. It was fun and I was successful, but I was still anxious. My mind dreaded the social media hustle. I felt bored of all the coaching. And empty. I got into this to teach Happiness, but I was unhappy. So I hit the RESET button. I looked deep within and remembered: Carin - you're here to move the masses. I did not get into this to coach a few. I did not get into this to obsessively feel defeated against algorithms.  I did not get into this to SELL! SELL! SELL! I'm here for massive impact. I'm here to start a Revolution. Can you relate? Does this resonate? If so, then stick around, because this episode is the audio from my VISIONARY MasterClass, in which I spilled the beans on: How I created a REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT. How I created a paid speaking biz What I've learned so you do it better In the VISIONARY Masterclass, you'll learn: The #1 Thing Killing Women Entrepreneurs' Spirits and Ability to Impact My 4 Step ROCKSTAR Plan The EXACT steps I took to speak to tens of thousands of people, to be on national radio, and to have a podcast in the top 20 for mental health in 30+ countries How to create a business that is full of EASE, is FUN, and FLOWS clients to you You will walk away feeling EXCITED about your work again, HOPEFUL about possibilities, and READY with a plan of ACTION to ROCK your MISSION!!! After I divorced years ago, I had a series of relationships over a number of years, some for a short time and some that lasted a while, but for too much of that time I wasn't really clear on what I wanted out of these relationships, let alone how to go about getting it. Looking back on it now, I wish I had had someone in my life like today's guest to help me navigate all of this. Today we're talking with Jamie Simkins, expert in all things dating, relationships, love and sex, and it is SUCH a fabulous, juicy conversation! Join us as we talk all about: Some of the common struggles so many women have in relationships and dating Why it matters that our brain confuses what is familiar with love Why women often "overfunction" in their relationships The challenges of getting back together after a break-up (70% don't make it!) Regarding the pain of break-ups, it's not that time heals all wounds, it's that…. (You're gonna have to listen to hear the rest of this one!) Why the break-up brain is an addicted brain How to manage a break-up in a healthy, healing way How to strengthen your current relationship About Jamie Simkins Jamie is a licensed therapist based in Chicago and an international coach who helps women to stop feeling lonely and start getting the love they crave. I recently got back from leading my Wild Woman Retreat in Puerto Rico, and I'm just gonna own it… It was AMAZING! I really do lead the best women's retreats! Together we embraced the wild parts of ourselves, those parts that the patriarchy tries to suppress because our raw power threatens and scares them. Because uncovering and embracing these deeper parts of ourselves is critical to our own happiness. Just dropping into your podcast feed a brief announcement for The Women's Day Event: WOMANFEST, a 5-hour live event, held on Zoom, March 10, 2023, in honor of International Women's Day! WOMANFEST is a free event to celebrate the power of women, to elevate and inspire us, for us to gather in Sisterhood and raise our voices and make a difference. And all proceeds from this event are going to support women's reproductive freedoms. In the wake of Roe being overturned, when our freedoms as women are being stripped, this is the time that we are needed the most to be the most fully alive versions of ourselves. When we as women are fully lit up, we light up those around us, and that's what it's going to take to change the world! WOMANFEST will be five hours of empowerment, celebration, inspiration, transformation, dancing, raging, turning our trauma into triumph, and so much more! Plus… All day long I'll be giving out juicy prizes, just for getting your tickets, and you don't have to be live on the call to win! We'll also be making the recordings available to those who buy tickets in advance, in case you can't be there all day. The tickets start at only $20.23, but they'll be going up to $55, $77, and higher, so get your tickets NOW! Join me! Register at: https://carinrockind.com/womanfest
We're every age we've ever been, and we carry with us the hurts from the younger versions of ourselves. To really become the powerful woman we were born to be we need to heal those wounds, we need to mother the little girl within, and when I started doing this I made such enormous strides in my personal growth! My guest today, Lisa Payne, is a soul sister and one of my clients, and she is the perfect person to help all of you to better get in touch with your inner child and begin the healing process and lead you to greater joy! In today's episode Lisa and I talk about: How I helped her overcome her fear and find her voice How the pains from our childhood still affect us and hold us back today The importance of acknowledging our issues in order to address them The source of resistance to inner child work and how to overcome it How to connect to your inner child Lisa's Slay Your Fears program – which I'm so glad I took! Deep down inside of us, and affecting who we are and the choices we make, is the 5-year old we once were, the 12-year old we used to be… We are every age we've ever been, and sometimes we can see these little girl tendencies in our own actions. But what the world needs now more than ever, and what WE need, is to live as a WOMAN! And so, today's episode is all about shifting from the little girl inside of us to becoming the woman we want to be. Join me as I talk all about: Taking radical self-responsibility to create what you want Speaking up for ourselves from a place of strength How to say NO when you really mean NO What is on the other side of fear and how YOU can get there My new offering, the powerful Year of WOMAN membership! Honesty time… how do you feel about your Pussy? (Vulva/Yoni/Vagina) Growing up, I was worried that mine looked weird and smelled funky. Sound familiar? I never looked at "her" - except when there was an "issue." Years later, I started my own sexual and sensual empowerment. I began developing a much healthier and more positive relationship with my Pussy. I fell in love with her, and this has changed EVERYTHING! I feel more free in bed, I feel more beautiful, more ALIVE. I'm more connected to my desires and turn on and have a magnetic magical ability to attract what I want. Every WOMAN needs this to be in her POWER. My guest, Khadoma Colomby, a feminine embodiment mentor, writer and artist and I dive into it in today's episode. Khadoma and I talk about: Why we need a relationship with Pussy Why so many women are distant from their own bodies - and what to do about it What happens when you're disconnected from your own Pussy Healing women through The Pussy Project My own Pussy story and pain - I share things I never have publicly! Her Pussy Portraits and the profoundly deep work she does with women to prep for them (you know you're curious!) Rewriting the story of our body and reclaiming our own power What it means to be "vulvalicious!" This is a real, raw, explicit, juicy, and super-important episode, and you do NOT want to miss it!
