Description

I’m Aish, and this is The Sober Seat

A weekly podcast for the sober, the sober-curious, and especially 30-somethings who thought they’d have it all figured out by now. The Sober Seat was born from my darkest days— around the clock drinker by 27, drinking alone in the same seat, on the same sofa, spiralling further in addiction.

Today, that seat is a symbol of sobriety, addiction recovery, and hope for anyone still struggling. Now sober, I continue to share the real, raw, and unfiltered truth about addiction, mental health, and recovery, determined to show that even in your darkest days, you’re not alone.

Throughout the season, we're joined by some incredibly inspiring guests who sit in The Sober Seat to talk openly about how addiction impacted them, the unfiltered realities of recovery, and what rebuilding life sober really looks like.

Addiction affects more than just the person struggling, I care deeply about sharing the stories of loved ones—their perspectives, challenges, and the meaningful work they’re now doing to raise awareness and create change.

So grab your headphones, get comfy and pull up a chair, because these are the stories the world needs to hear. Proving that if the dream of Sobriety, is met with hope and courage it can become a way out.
