Life is hard at times, but it doesn’t mean stop theworld and get off. Look at your life and see if you have given up too easily on your dreams, and remember: if at first you don't succeed, then dust yourself off and try again.
Are you wishing time away? Do you constantlythink, " Will this day ever end?" or, "Will this thing ever be over? "Will this person ever finish their story?" Are you sacrificing the present moment for the past or the future? When all that matters is Now!
Often, we overestimate the good times, thinking theywill last forever, and we underestimate the power of bad times, failing to see how they can teach and strengthen us.
Nature is always showing us its wisdom. The things that actually make us happy are free. According to Yale University, social connection is one of them.
This week, I share an old Japanese fable which teaches us that all the faces in the world are like mirrors. What do you see in the faces of the people you meet?
In this episode, I share the story of how I became known as the Minister4Happiness. I shine a light on how you never know from day to day what seed you could be planting for your future. In all of our daily experiences and interactions, we are participating in the creation of our future. I have always believed that our attitude determines our experience, and this story proves the point.
In this episode, I share an old story, "Acres of Diamonds," and discuss how opportunity is often closer than we think. Often, we put off doing the things that excite us until the perfect time, which is always in the future. Sometimes, the perfect time to start something is now, wherever you are, with whatever you have. As the saying goes, no pressure, no diamonds.
