In this episode of the *Limitless* podcast, host Noona Nafousi welcomes Kirsty Morris, the serial entrepreneur behind the luxury wellness brand, KAILO. Morris shares her journey from growing up in a pioneering McDonald’s franchise family in Australia to building her own international wellness empire. She discusses how witnessing her parents’ sacrifice and teamwork instilled a deep work ethic, leading her to open her first coffee shop at age 24 and later hold a key culture-building role at Virgin Airlines.Morris provides a raw look at the personal and professional hurdles that shaped her, including navigating a complex divorce and the emotional challenge of walking away from her family's McDonald's legacy to pursue her true passion. She recounts how KAILO, which began as a med spa in 2018, was nearly derailed by the global pandemic only 12 months after opening. Through the resilience of her all-female team, the business not only survived but innovated, leading to the birth of KAILO Nutrition. The conversation also delves into Morris’s advocacy for female leadership and her commitment to holistic health. She shares expert advice on the critical role of gut health in longevity, recommending anti-inflammatory protocols and microbiome testing for overall well-being. In this solo episode of the Limitless podcast, host Noona Nafousi reflects on her career journey from the perspective of her 47-year-old self. She dives into the "gold" found in hindsight, sharing eight specific lessons she wishes she had understood in her 30s that would have radically changed her career trajectory and well-being.Noona explores why high achievers often hit a wall when they rely on external validation, such as job titles and salaries, and explains how shifting toward internal validation is the true key to sustaining success at the top. She also challenges the traditional view of confidence, describing it as a physical capacity held in the nervous system rather than a byproduct of external achievements.Throughout the episode, you'll hear about the reality of professional loneliness, why success can actually make your inner critic louder, and the vital importance of resting before your body is forced to "scream" for a break. Whether you are currently navigating your 30s or are well beyond them, these insights offer a roadmap for leading with more ease and less internal chaos. We’d love to hear which of these eight lessons resonated most with your current journey on the comments.

Join Noona Nafousi as she launches her new podcast, Limitless, to help you understand the limits we place on ourselves and how to become limitless. Noona's journey began with a childhood obsession with personal development, and later, as a headhunter and recruiter, she became "really obsessed" with why some candidates with perfect CVs lacked confidence. Using her skills as a master NLP practitioner, she started coaching her candidates, helping them uncover that their limiting factor was normally their beliefs.Noona shared her personal story of transformation, which began when she was made redundant as a headhunter during COVID, a time when she also struggled with low self-confidence and a changed identity as a new mother. She described being "absolutely broken" after losing her job in an "unceremonious way," being told she "couldn't handle the pressure of COVID," and having money owed under UAE law stolen from her. When her daughter walked in on her crying, she realized, "this is not my story" and worked on herself. Through this, she realized she had low self-respect and weak boundaries, meaning she was "training people on how much respect they should have" for her. Noona, who also admitted to playing the "victim card beautifully," now loves herself more than ever at 47 and calls herself "the kindest human being in my life".The podcast Limitless will explore why we place limits on ourselves, what those limits are, and the "little practical steps" to notice and strip them away. Noona emphasizes that only she can make herself happy or sad, stressing the importance of taking "radical responsibility" for one's own thoughts, feelings, and emotions to achieve real power and true happiness. Tune in to Limitless for episodes featuring solo discussions and guest interviews. Remember: "the only limits that are holding us back in our life are the ones that we place on ourselves"
