This radio show reincarnates the old Ukrainian radio, which broadcasted across the country by wires. A small plastic radio device was usually hang up in every kitchen and broadcasted news, shows and music non-stop from 6:00 till midnight. That's why people called it "chatterbox".
“This show is not only created to entertain you with cool tunes. But first of all - to create an imaginary space and time in which the old Ukrainian radio continues to be oldy and at the same time relevant for all categories of citizens.”

Our guest today is a highly experienced and dedicated selector, music journalist, and radio host – Volodymyr Sivash. Those who know, know. Here are his childhood memories of an old radio.
"In my parents’ apartment – during my childhood and teenage years – there were always big audio systems, amplifiers, speakers, and extra players in both rooms, thanks to my father, who loved music (and passed that love on to me). Music played all the time.
But in the kitchen, on the windowsill, there was a small, old, rectangular plastic radio.
Early in the morning, during breakfast and tea before school (before my father turned on his equipment), the sound in the kitchen came from that little radio.
I don’t remember much about the music, but one thing stayed with me: every morning, for a geography journal at school (or something similar), I had to write down the weather – temperature, wind, humidity, and so on. Later, we made graphs from these notes.
So, every morning, around seven o’clock, I would sit by the kitchen window, listen to the weather report on the plastic radio, and write it down in my notebook."
