Bonus Episode: Forbes True Crime Bank of America has reached a settlement “in principle” in a class action lawsuit brought on by Epstein accusers. The lawsuit alleged that “throughout its relationship with Epstein, Bank of America violated numerous banking laws and regulations in order to conceal and continue its lucrative venture facilitating the Epstein sexual abuse and sex-trafficking scheme." In a November 2025 filing, Bank of America said the lawsuit was based on nothing more than accusations that “it provided routine services to customers who at the time had no known connection to Epstein’s sex trafficking.” This case is the latest in a string of lawsuits against financial institutions brought on by Epstein accusers. A hearing to consider the proposed settlement will take place at the beginning of April. It appears the next country that President Donald Trump has set his sights on is Cuba. Earlier this week, he told reporters that he believes he's going to have "the honor of taking" the country. He said it's a "weakened nation" that's essentially running on "fumes." Those comments came as Cuba was once again thrust into an islandwide blackout. Dr. Brian Fonseca, director of the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy at Florida International University, joined "Forbes Newsroom" to discuss the dual economic and energy crises Cuba is currently facing, as well as Trump's remarks on the island nation. Oil prices have skyrocketed since the United States and Israel launched a war against Iran. Since the war began over two weeks ago, at times the price of oil surpassed $100 a barrel for the first time since 2022. This is in large part due to the major disruptions to shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway where around 20% of the world’s oil supply travels through. Dr. Rosemary Kelanic, the director of the Middle East Program at Defense Priorities, joins "Forbes Newsroom" to discuss the current situation regarding the Strait of Hormuz, as well as her op-ed, 'Trump Is Making Jimmy Carter’s Mistake on Iran and Oil.' President Donald Trump said he would look into denaturalizing citizens “who undermine domestic tranquility” after two members of the National Guard were shot in a Washington, D.C., attack the day before Thanksgiving. The suspected gunman is an Afghan national who worked with our military during the war in Afghanistan. He came to America in 2021 through President Biden’s Operation Allies Welcome program following the chaotic Kabul withdrawal, but he was ultimately granted asylum by the Trump administration this year. When asked about denaturalization days after the attack, Trump said, "If we have criminals that came into our country, and they were naturalized, maybe through Biden or somebody that didn't know what they were doing, if i have the power to do it — I'm not sure that I do, but if I do — I would denaturalize. Absolutely." Immigration attorney Lina Baroudi joins “Forbes Newsroom” to discuss.
