America Held Hostage

From the Stally Brand Digital Studios, we go there for a special halloween edition of America Held Hostage. UFOs, aliens, crop circles, abductions, probings, animal mutilations - Besides all being subject matter for Unsolved Mysteries episodes for all of us back in the day or streaming online today......are these even true? And if so, how do we think of them thru a Biblical lens/worldview? Are Aliens intelligent life from others planets or are they fallen demonic eternal creatures hell bent on destroying God's creation thru false signs and wonders with supernatural technology? We talk to a skeptic who turned believer in this topic who now sees it all thru a Biblical eye and makes sense of it - Author, director, and producer Derrick Warful. With a Bachelor's in psychology from Princeton, a Master's of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Master's of Fine Arts in Cinema from the University of Southern California - Derrick brings the facts. After spending 8 yrs on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ and working in Hollywood for 4 decades, our guest now gives clear, Biblical insight designed to equip the church to recognize & resist the demonic deceptions & dangers embedded in these messages thruout pop culture and the world.

Pastor, Author, and Speaker Michael Clary joins Jon in the Stally Brand Digital Studios to discuss his latest book "Loser Theology - How the weak will NOT inherit the earth."Christians in America believed the lie that you could have truth without Christ, and it has rotted out the Christian's Courageous Witness. You may come to the public square, but your religion must stay between your ears. Americans went from founding a great Christian nation, crafting a brilliant constitutional document, and adventuring westward, to being subjugated, taunted, and chased around by secular and puritanical busybodies. The greatest temptation of Loser Theology is how much easier it is than its alternative. Fighting for and keeping a Christian culture requires raising godly children, it means planting churches immune to fashionable lies, it means starting schools and other institutions and keeping them for more than a single generation. So stand up straight. Chin up. Put your shoulders back. And cheer up, it's worse than you might think. But our marching orders from Christ in the Great Commission are clear.Losers, Cowards, and the Do-Nothings need not apply. We discuss how a weak church leads to troubling times for a culture because salt and light lose flavor and dim. Our Culture is desperate for more, but are we as the Church ready for the moment that is here knocking on our door?
