The Squad assembles to bring you this weeks idiotic conversation. Missed us? Nolan brings us some weird history. Anyone know who Queen Boudica was and why she was so important? No? Well, you won't learn much, but maybe it will inspire you to dig a little deeper.  Missing 411 anyone? It continues, or does it. JD brings the heat in monotone. Is that possible. Neil Gehring was reported as  missing from Olympia National Park on September 2, 2026 after failing to return as planned. Hopefully he is ok. Is this another case of the 411 conspiracy theory?  Swan brings us this weeks featured piece of sh!+ times three. No shortage of dumb criminals out there.  The Beaveman continues the journey to the great mortality. This week, her presents the bacteria itself, Yersinia Pestis. Finally, Swan finishes off with dumb jokes. They are definitely that.  Thank you all for joining us. Please listen, share, rate, and comment. This helps us get to the top. With your support, we could do this full time and continue to bring you the comedic entertainment that only friends can enjoy together each week.  Check out our Patreon https://www.patreon.com/c/TheSlaptailSquad
If I told you there existed a centaur like, Goat headed thing, that wielded axes and chainsaws, would you think it's purpose was search and rescue? This week on Monstrous Minutes, JD Hutchins, the Dark Lord of Brown-Town introduces Slaptail Nation to Three Halves. Part demon, part robot, all go!   Support the Patreon   https://patreon.com/theslaptailsquad
This week the squad unites for its typical banter and irreverent humor mixed with some interesting topics of discussion.  The Beaveman returns from his trip to where it all began, Ft. Benning Georgia. He welcomed his young friend into the brotherhood of the US Army Airborne and Infantry. Follow me! All the way! The Swan brings us this weeks featured piece of sh!+. This guy wants to hide out in a tiny doghouse that is clearly not suited to house the Norse God of Thunder! Chavezz Alfredo Thor Russell tried to get away, but the bad boys got him. Can Swan deliver the news in local anchor style? Nope! But it was fun to mess around.  The Beaveman continues to provide context and pull the squad and the audience into the time of the Great Mortality. This week, he discusses the Oriental Rat Flea.  Nolan brings a surprisingly interesting tale of the voyage of the damned, and JD rambles on relentlessly abut the Delta Blues and deals with the Devil. Robert Johnson, and Tommy Johnson got their guitar skills, bo skills, and skills with dealing with animals bred for their skills in magic directly from Old Scratch himself. Or did they?  Swan brings it home in the only way she can, with Dumb Jokes with Swan.  Its another fun episode. Members of the Great Slaptail Nation, Welcome back. Or, if you're brand new and you've stumbled your way here, welcome. We want to thank each and every one of you for everyone for listening— you've endured our questionable decisions, Beaveman's Not So Grand Rounds, JD's Monsters Lair, Nolan's Weird History, Drippy Steve's unnecessary oversharing, Swan's terrible jokes, and conversations that somehow keep getting recorded. We've survived aliens, bodily fluids, bizarre medical conditions, questionable life choices, and whatever the hell happened in the last season. And we're back bringing you even more this season!!!  It's the premier of Season 8 and the "Squad" unites! Beaveman decides to determine the order of segments with a brief bout of Rock, Paper, Scissors. It goes as about as well as you think it would. Between Steven trying to change the structure of the show and our resident Dark Lord unsurprisingly choosing the left hand path and cheating his way through it, it's a surprise they came to any decisions at all. Oh well, that's what happens when you get a bunch of idiots to compete with each other. Nolan gets us started with the weird history of doctors washing their hands. It doesn't end well for the man who originally made the suggestion. JD cheats his way to an opportunity of being able to drag us into The Monster's Lair where news of an ancient tree's death leads us down a rabbit hole the size of a forest. Swan gives us a "very interesting" segment about this week's Featured Piece of Sh1+. Next we get Beaveman's Not So Ground Rounds about a dark, little, furry creature and no it's not his pen1$. This Season, Not So Grand Rounds will be a series of stories surrounding the same subject. Listen to find out what! Finally as always, Swan pummels us with awful jokes. This time around, her jokes, if you can even call them that, take on a distinctly Canadian tone. It's Season 8 of The Slaptail Squad! Buckle up and get ready because here we go again... because we know what it means to walk the lonely street of dreams...   As long as those dreams involve   Money. Sex. Power.   Support the show in the new season and beyond   https://www.patreon.com/c/TheSlaptailSquad
