Alonesy! : Solo RPG/DND Sessions

We're back with a new adventure! AND we're level 3 yayy! I struggled with this one as the triple-os of the characters definitely veered off of the written adventure lmao . Sorry for the delay I got busy and prioritized the gaming videos but we're so back!!the adventure is called The Hound of Cabell Manor by Winghorn Press! available on DMsGuild (pay what you want; https://www.dmsguild.com/en/product/195423/the-hound-of-cabell-s-tomb-a-basic-rules-adventure)00:00 intro and housekeeping03:45 adventure startsCast:Caelum | High Elf | Paladin Oath of DevotionCelestine | Court Aasimar | Bard College of LoreCinna | Earth Genasi | Fighter Battlemasteromg i spotted an editing error lmao if you noticed it you didnt ;-;-----Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. There's a bunch of DND adventures I want to try out so I'll be playing all the characters and using the dice to guide the story. I'm using published/pre-written adventures at least for now. Also starting with DND 5E but will try out new systems when I can (some PF2E APs I also want to try).Alones-y! pays homage to Doctor Who and Powerpuff Girls. I love using Doctor Who to have a reason to explore multiverses as well as take on different companions regularly, as well as the "regeneration" plot cheat. And for Powerpuff Girls, my main cast is a trio inspired by them, and that's about it. Also you know "Fighting crime trying to save the world"Recording because I prefer this over the journaling method of solo TTRPG so hey might as well share it :)Follow along as I try to tell a story while learning the mechanics ehe🔴Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/@viatrix🟢 Spotify/podcast page: https://creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/heyviatrix/

In this BONUS episode, we take a break from DnD and try out the PF2E Beginner Box Solo Adventure (CYOA style). I love that they have this included in the beginner box to at least show the mechanics of the game. CYOAs are definitely railroady but are a good way to teach a new system. Look forward to an actual play with the PF2E (or even Starfinder) sytem soon hehe-----Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. After three episodes of Caelum and Celestine, we finally check in on Cinna and she's kept herself quite busy. I enjoyed this one a lot actually, the search points and chase mechanics made it feel different than just combat. Also our first interaction with a certain faction! We have 2 major factions that we have interacted with now!Again, this is originally an adventure from Pathfinder 2E converted to DND and for a solo player (Title: Escorting a Mirage Series 2 Quest 17). Had to rebalance the last bit slightly in the middle of the adventure though lmao00:00 intro and errata04:30 adventure startsCast:Cinna | Earth Genasi | FighterFeaturing: Pallomar | Half-Orc | Lv1 Bard Sidekick-----Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. We finally finish the first Candlekeep Mysteries adventure!! It is quite beginner friendly (both player and DM wise) but I do hope future adventures in this anthology will be more fun than this because as someone who is not a huge fan of dungeon crawls (I don't hate them I quite like combat but dungeon crawl specifically is not my favorite genre of adventures), this was definitely one but in a mansion. A mansion crawl I guess. And we get a Candlekeep connection yay!I wonder what Cinna is up to?Cast:Caelum | High Elf | PaladinCelestine | Court Aasimar | BardFeaturing: Nax Olossis | Brass Dragonborn | Lv1 Wizard | Guide from Candlekeep-----Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. The crew makes themselves feel at home in this extradimensional mansion. I'm also struggling to budget my spell slots for heals. But hey that's the challenge.
