The Final Hours with Sarah Turney and Kourtney Nichole

Two months after Cindy Song vanished in 2001, investigators had no crime scene, no suspect, and no solid leads to pursue. What her family had was a fight with the department that took the original report. And that's where things stood until June 2003, when a man facing prison told detectives about a property a hundred and thirty miles away. What came out of that backyard made national news. But not in the way anyone had hoped. If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow The Final Hours to never miss a case! To hear episodes ad-free and released early, subscribe to Crime House+. On Halloween night 2001, 21-year-old Penn State senior Cindy Song went out dancing with two friends in State College, Pennsylvania. Just before 4 a.m., one of them dropped her off and watched her climb the stairs to her apartment. After that, she vanished. Inside, police found a pair of false eyelashes set down on the counter and her backpack with her cell phone still zipped inside — the only signs she ever made it home. Her keys, her wallet, her ID and her costume were gone. And the front door was locked from the outside. If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow The Final Hours to never miss a case! Seventeen months after Nancy Moyer vanished, a deputy stopped a pickup truck a mile from her front door and found the body of a woman in the passenger seat. The driver lived down the road from Nancy, and one of her daughters recognized him as a salesman who had come to their door. Then came a tip about a coworker who poured concrete in his backyard just after she disappeared. And a 911 call from a man who said he was tired of holding in a confession. But none of the leads ever led to an arrest, or clear answers on what happened to Nancy Moyer. If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow The Final Hours to never miss a case! When Nancy Moyer's estranged husband brought their daughters to her house on the evening of Sunday, March 8th, 2009, the front door was resting open against the frame. The television was on, her car sat out front, and a half-finished glass of wine stood on the coffee table beside a second. Detectives found no forced entry, no sign of a struggle, and both glasses had only Nancy's prints on them. The investigation never produced a body, a weapon or a crime scene. The only things missing from that house were Nancy and her favorite winter coat.If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow The Final Hours to never miss a case!
