What does it really mean to be a man? Every culture has its own answer. The Greeks celebrated honor and glory. The Romans pursued power, status, and achievement. First-century Judaism carried its own expectations of masculinity. Today, modern culture offers everything from hustle culture to the Manosphere. Then Jesus enters the conversation—and overturns them all. Jesus consistently challenged the world's definition of strength, greatness, and success. His teachings confronted the values of every man’s definition with the challenge unless you change you will NOT enter the kingdom of heaven. In this episode I discuss: * Compare Greek, Roman, and modern Manosphere culture vs. Jesus’ teaching * What is taught about Honor * How to handle shames * Views of Humility * How to achieve glory and immortality * How the twelve disciples had radically different worldviews & how Jesus spoke against their worldviews * What Jesus meant by becoming like a child (Matthew 18:1–4) * The revolutionary nature of biblical humility (Matthew 23:12) Ultimately, Jesus doesn't simply improve our existing ideas of masculinity—He replaces them with an entirely different kingdom. In His kingdom, greatness is found in humility, strength in surrender, leadership in service, and life through self-giving love.
