Water heals, restores, and makes creation flourish. But it also challenges us: to recognize ecological damage, to embrace our interconnectedness, and take up responsibility of caring for and restoring our planet. We seek to transform awareness into action and commitment into hope for our common home as we immerse ourselves in God's possibilities and become the river.Sunday, September 27, 2026Rev. Molly Vetter

In the Bible, water is both a critical element for human survival and a central metaphor for what is necessary for human flourishing. If water, both real and metaphorical, is necessary for our survival and flourishing, what we see in Jeremiah and the Gospel of John shows what happens when both sources are neglected. It is a warning we must heed, if not for our own sake, for the well-being of our children.Sunday, September 20, 2026Rev. Dr. Christopher Carter

This Sunday, our scripture invites us to appreciate our mutuality and interconnectedness.Sunday, September 13, 2026Rev. Molly Vetter

Water heals, restores, and makes creation flourish. But it also challenges us: to recognize ecological damage, to embrace our interconnectedness, and to immerse ourselves in the responsibility of caring for and restoring our Common Home. This Sunday, we join Christians from around the world in observing the Season of Creation 2026: Living Water as we "enter the stream" of God's grace.Sunday, September 6, 2026Rev. Molly Vetter

The kind of leadership God calls us to seldom looks comfortable or like we expect: in Moses we see a reluctant leader, skeptical that he's the right person for the job. In Jesus' disciples, we see them misunderstand what their leadership looks like. Still, God goes with them. Sunday, August 30, 2026 Rev. Molly Vetter
