Welcome to Widow’s Bay everybody! Karen and I are overjoyed that so many of you expressed interest in us covering this. And what a pleasure to be immersing ourselves in the world of this wonderfully funny, smart, creepy, kooky, multiple Emmy-winning series. This episode in particular won Emmys for best writing and directing, and it shows. This is one of those pilots that just nails it, hooking you in right away. And Matthew Rhys’ performance in particular is brilliant. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the podcast as Karen and I talk it out!Next up on Wax Episodic: Widow’s Bay S1E2 “Lodging”.
