I LOVED my slap bracelet! Picture it, Orlando FL 1990 after returning to 5th grade after Christmas break. My 11 year old self returned to school triumphantly cool with the leatherette fanny pack, slathered in Drakar Noir cologne, wearing my KMART T shirt with two clams conversing captioned "Frankly Scalop I don't dive a Clam!", wearing zebra striped Chuck Taylor high tops, my brand new faded denim jacket with the Hard Rock Cafe pin from the New Orleans Hard Rock, and finally the crowning glory of my new pimped out look, a neon orange leopard print knockoff slap bracelet. Unfortunately I didn't have the patience to grow a mullet and my mom wouldn't let me have blue dyed mohawk. Unfortunately, I didn't actually realize that I was WAY behind the trend and had a timex instead of a Swatch Watch, but for a few minutes, before my classmates saw me, I was THE coolest guy in school. 😎

I was 17 when teletubbies came out, so I didn't watch until I was 20 in 2010. I didn't have kids, but since I was recovering from a broken foot, I ate SO many pain killers my first day off. while it isn't watchable sober, after 2 loratabs and a beer, it was way better! it became must see tv for the next three months and everyday, when the video played in Poe's stomach TV, I screamed "Again" along with them before the video repeated. Don't abuse or use drugs illegally, but if you're ever recovering from surgery or otherwise legally high, definitely check out teletubbies!

The episode doesn’t start till almost 30 min in. It’s a cool podcast concept but I can’t stand when hosts ramble on complete tangents for so long at the beginning. If you need that to get started, fine, but please edit it down.

Love the show. Carl Winslow was Family Matters, not Uncle Phil. And Family Matters was an Awesome show. Tons of great guests and pretty sure they had a few crossover episodes with several TGIF shows

I “accidentally” saw the Candyman also when I was 9-ish. Couldn’t go in a public bathroom by myself until I was like 21, and to this DAY I get the panic willies to wash my face in the sink when I’m alone for fear I will rinse and open my eyes to see him behind me. 😬

This is the first time I'm listening so I don't want to be an asshole, but how can you have a 90s pop culture show where you don't remember Bill Paxton in Titanic? And think that Saving Private Ryan and Independence Day came out assertive the same time and were the running against each other at the Globes? Private Ryan was clearly after based on the way it looks alone...

mannn had to stop listening which really bums me out because I love the concept of this show. The hosts speak very clearly and intelligently about these fun, nostalgic movies from my childhood but then have to douse the whole thing in repeated "fing pieces of sh*t" and "d-bags". It's so abrasive and sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

Every episode left me feeling like they really didn't actually say anything. I feel like they didn't do enough research on their topics. I had so many fun facts that I already knew off the top of my head that I was so sad not to hear them add to these. So I'm left feeling meh about it and am not continuing to watch after three episodes. Bummer since it's such a cool concept for a show.
