Today's 94 WIP Midday Show questioned what type of game we will see from Jalen Hurts on Saturday against the Commanders. Joe Giglio says that Hurts will not have a big game because he probably will not have to. Donovan McNabb and Ray Didinger both liked what they saw from the Eagles offense last week. After a wild game of Thursday Night Football, it is worth questioning if the Eagles are in the same class as some of the top teams in the NFC. The Eagles are close to winning back-to-back division titles, is this cause for a champagne popping? Jason Kelce urges the Eagles and Jalen Hurts to continue running the ball. In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show discuss what to expect out of Jalen Hurts during Eagles-Commanders this Saturday. Joe Giglio does not think Hurts will have a big game because it is a game where the Eagles should mostly run the ball. Hugh Douglas says that Hurts will play well and his leadership will help the team in this late part of the season. Ray Didinger and Donovan McNabb liked what they saw out of the Eagles offense in their last game. The Phillies have traded relief pitcher Matt Strahm to the Kansas City Royals in exchange for relief pitcher Jonathan Bowlan.
In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show discussed the Eagles-Commanders matchup this Saturday with 106.7 The Fan in Washington D.C. The main thing to note going into this game is that the Commanders will continue to play hard in hopes of ruining the Eagles playoff outlook. Compared to the Seahawks and the Rams, Joe Giglio makes it clear that he does not think the Eagles offense would be able to keep up with those two teams. He says that Jalen Hurts has given the Eagles mediocre play this season.
In hour 3, the 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing the role that Jalen Hurts has had and will continue to have in the Eagles offense with just three regular season games left. Eliot Shorr-Parks had some interesting ideas in regard to how the Eagles should celebrate if they win the NFC East. Jason Kelce is calling for Hurts to run the ball more and that it will be good for him to continue getting reps in that area. Joe Giglio says that it is disrespectful to the Eagles team to say that Hurts wins all by himself. Hugh Douglas says the Eagles cannot do anything to limit their offense even if it is risky to run with Hurts.

The 94 WIP Midday Show is discussing the current state of the Eagles offense and the belief that Jalen Hurts should be running the ball more. Jason Kelce wants to see Hurts continue to get reps in the running game because it will help them in the playoffs. Joe Giglio isn't so sure, saying it's risky and Hurts shouldn't even need to use his legs in these last three games. Hugh Douglas believes the Eagles do not hold the luxury of limiting their offense and that Hurts needs to run.

One thing is certain and that is the Commanders will play hard this weekend attempting to alter the Eagles playoff hopes. If the Commanders don't play hard, they will be embarrassed by the Eagles. Jalen Hurts may be in the mindset of trying to prove people he is more than a running Quarterback.

Joe Giglio stresses that this Saturday's game will not be an easy one because the Commanders have not quit on their season yet.
