We revisit the Maxx Crosby situation in Las Vegas. Are the raiders going to come down on their asking price for Crosby after the Ravens nixed the trade? The Ravens said he didn’t pass their physical, but it was convenient that they had Trey Hendrickson signed right away and it’s seeming like they just got cold feet and backed out of the trade. The Raiders made a lot of moves in free agency, but still have cap room for Crosby and they’re playing it up like they really want him and he really wants to be there. Will any other team step up and make an offer for Crosby that the Raiders can’t refuse? :30- We’re trying something new and putting the listeners in charge! Sup? It’s a simple question with less simple answers. :45- Phew! The US made it through to the quarterfinals of the WBC, but we definitely didn’t need that tension and stress! Riq Woolen is headed to Philadelphia, but only on a one-year deal. Geno Smith is on his way back to the NY Jets… will it work the second time around? :30- Ok, so maybe this Cal and Randy is a thing… Cal made a statement ahead of last night’s game and said he reached out to Randy, but it doesn’t appear that Randy responded. Are we concerned that this will cause problems in the Clubhouse when the guys are back with the Mariners? No, we think it will absolutely be resolved by then, but it’s definitely more of a thing than we originally thought. :45- It’s time to get Reckless at Breakfast! Does the format of the WBC need to be changed? Should pool play be eliminated? Do the eligibility rules need to be changed for players representing other countries? We have to start with the WBC… it was bad enough that USA lost to Italy last night, but for DeRosa to have thought that the US had punched their ticket to the quarterfinals after the win over Mexico takes things to a new level. Apparently team USA sat around telling stories and drinking beer after the win over Mexico and there were some guys who weren’t feeling too great yesterday as DeRosa told MLB Network. How did no one correct him and tell him they weren’t guaranteed a spot in the quarters yet? The US went out and gave up 5 runs early to Italy… sloppy defensive play added three more runs and the US found themselves in an 8-0 hole before their bats woke up. Now we wait to see what happens with Italy and Mexico today and can only hope that the US isn’t eliminated. :30- The Drama in the WBC wasn’t the only thing going on last night… The Baltimore Ravens backed out of the trade with the Raiders for Maxx Crosby, saying he didn’t pass their physical. This morning they have conveniently signed Trey Hendrickson to a 4-year deal and got to keep their first round draft picks. So, did Crosby fail the physical or did the Ravens just get cold feet? :45- We told you there was a lot going on, so we head to the NBA, where Bam Adebayo dropped 83 points last night. But it was not without controversy as 43 points came from free throws and the Heat were doing all they could to get him the ball and more time to score. Day 1 of Tamperfest was madness and Day 2 has been very quiet as we begin our 2nd hour of our Tamperfest specialty show with mike Sando still in-studio. Let’s talk about quarterbacks- namely our quarterback: The Geno Smith and Sam Darnold storylines could not have been more polar-opposites in 2025. And what about other QB moves around the league this week? Should Kyler Murray leave the NFL for MLB? Things have been very quiet this morning and Riq Woolen is still out there on the free agent market- will he land a really big deal? How did Mike feel about the Jobe contract? Is Ken Walker the answer Kansas City has been looking for? :30- The Ol Judge is here and Mike Sando is ready to prove he belongs in the courtroom! Ken Walker is not only going to be good in Kansas City, he’s going to win a rushing title. JSN will become the highest paid wide receiver in the league and he’s going to make $50 million a year. Family night at WWE and a WBC controversy. Social media was buzzing about the fact that Cal Raleigh refused to shake Randy Arozarena’s hand last night prior to Randy’s at-bat. While a lot of people understood the competition aspect, others were quick to jump on our favorite catcher. Randy didn’t exactly ease the tension postgame when he addressed Cal and the alleged snub in 4 languages. :30- Tamperfest Day 1 was full of action, so what did we think of the Seahawks moves? We can assume that Ken Walker will be wearing a different uniform in 2026 and we can also assume that another team is going to be overpaying for the veteran running back based off his post-season performance. :30- Maxx Crosby is headed to the Ravens and as much as we would have liked to have him on the team, we are fine with the Seahawks not giving up two draft picks and paying that big salary. Yes, the Seahawks did have the draft capital, but the Ravens draft picks seem more enticing given that the Seahawks are picking 32nd this year and hopefully late in the first round next year as well. :45- We have a BIG WBC matchup tonight as the US and Mexico face off.
