One of the landmark events on the Bayside calendar is the Kieser Great Bayside Swim. This year’s event will be on Saturday 24 January 2026 at Middle Brighton beach, just next to the pier and in front of the Royal Brighton Yacht Club.
In this podcast, Colin Tyrus is speaking with long distance swimmer and swim coach John Van Wisse who is an ambassador for the event, organised by the Rotary Club of Brighton with the support of the Brighton Life Saving Club. Kieser is the principal sponsor.

Round 7 games were completed in SECA and there were loads of highlights. Hat-tricks, centuries, 400 game milestones and plenty more on a perfect day for cricket.
The SECA Panel wrapped up all events of the day on Sunday morning and were joined by East Sandringham President Scott Campbell who illuminated us about a very special event coming up on the 23rd December as he also enjoyed a successful weekend for the club.
