A Course in What?! A Course in Miracles with Cynthia Morgan

I answer the question that every student of the Course has while reading the Text, "Why is the Course so hard to read and understand? Why isn't it written more simply?" I also finish reading and discussing the remaining Principles of Miracles (36-50). 

In the first part of this podcast, I answer a question that a listener submitted about why we should embrace and live the metaphysics of the Course if it's just a "story." The remaining podcast is reading and explaining the the section "Revelation, Time and Miracles."

In this episode, I read and discuss the section Atonement and Miracles. I also read a section of Question 22: How are Healing and Atonement Related? 

In this episode, I answer a two part question from a listener about our experiences being an illusion and the metaphysical concept of time. I also read and discuss the section The Escape from Darkness. 

I address the idea that the principles of ACIM can be "kind of scary," as an iTunes reviewer keenly observed, by reading a segment from my book You're Already Hypnotized, in which I reveal a very scary experience as a result of studying the Course. I also read and discuss the section Wholeness and Spirit.

I finish Chapter 1 by reading and discussing the last two sections, The Illusion of Needs and Distortions of Miracle Impulses.

In this episode I address the topic of A Course in Miracles study groups, then I read and discuss the first section of Chapter 2: The Origins of Separation

One of the few episodes in which I jump right into the reading. In this episode, I read and discuss the section The Atonment as Defense.

In this episode, I answer a listener's question about healing her relationship with a substance that gives her "pleasure." I also read and discuss the section The Altar of God.

In this episode, I read the section Healing as Release From Fear, and discuss why it's important not to deny our body and our experiences in the world.

This episode is a reading from my book You're Already Hypnotized: A Guide to Waking Up. It is the professionally recorded audio chapter Bad Habits. The book combines A Course in Miracles principles with my work as a hypnotherapist. I am including it here because it is in alignment with the last few podcast episodes and where we are in our reading of the Course. There are tips included at the end for dealing with a bad habit. Listeners can expect to hear information specifically on guilt in the mind. 

In this episode, I read and discuss paragraphs 1-5 of the section The Function of the Miracle Worker. I will be breaking this section into 3 parts, this being part 1.  

I finish reading and discussing the first part of the section The Function of the Miracle Worker, paragraphs 6-10.

In this episode, I read the final part of this section: A. Special Principles of Miracle Workers. I also talk about the origins of the prayer at the end of this section, which was  given as a personal prayer to Bill Thetford by Jesus in order to help Bill deal with a difficult situation.  

This episode is different from the previous episodes in that it is a Q and A. I answer four questions that have been submitted to me over the last couple of weeks by different listeners.
