A Court of Lovers and Books

Feyre dines with Lucien and Tamlin and learns that her family is being well taken care for, and will be as long as she doesnt not escape past the wall. Feyre spends her first day planning escape routes through the garden. Tamlin confronts her and Feyre learns about a sickness that has been going on for the past 50 years,  slowly weakening the magic across Prythian. She starts to realize that escaping is probably not her best option right now , so she instead plans to get Lucien to convince Tamlin to find a loophole in the Treaty and send her back home. 

A beast storms into Feyre's cottage to claim payment for the loss of his friend; the wolf that Feyre killed which did indeed turn out to be a fae. A life for a life. Feyre is dealt two choices; die or live the rest of her life in Prythian. She chose the latter, leaving her starving family behind and went with the beast. She arrives and finds out that there is a lot to fae life that she never knew about and the stories that were told to her were starting to not be true at all. Feyre is now fighting between two inner battles; stay and live, or escape to save her family, even if it means risking her life.  In this episode of A Court of Lovers and Books, we cover Chapters 4-6 of A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Feyre's family is low on food, sending her into the forest to hunt in the bitter cold of winter. With a crippled father and two older sisters that refuse to get their hands dirty, the burden of keeping the family alive is on her. Her journey into the forest is successful when she returns to her family with a doe and the pelt of a wolf that she skinned. A wolf who's identity could be the faerie kind but she tries to tell herself otherwise. She makes her way to the village the next day to sell the hide and pelt to a mercenary. She receives a great pricing on her goods and the kind mercenary also gives her a word of advice from one hunter to another. To stay clear of the forest and be careful, the whispers of attacks from the fae as increased and no one knows what they're planning.
