I am yet to meet anyone who does not like sunsets or sunrises. We can all collectively agree, that the sight of an early morning sun rising above the horizon or the "clocking out" from a hot day (pun intended) as it sits on the horizon, is a sight to behold. Whether you are on vacation or on your way to an early morning work shift, it just has a way of lifting your spirit. But...when it gets a little too hot in the afternoon and we are sweating, the last thing we think about is the beauty of the sun versus how we want to go back indoors and cool off. Well, this is where a revelation hit me about the similarities of this nature in our everyday life. God begins a good work in us and brings it to a fruitful end. And usually, it is the uncertainty of the "middle" that holds us stagnant. So in this episode, we will be diving deeper into the "middle" and the uncertainty of the day!
Lifting of hands in surrender to God in difficult times is not for the faint-hearted but it is one that brings joy in chaos. In this fourth episode ( yay! we made it to episode 4, can you believe it?), we dive into what it means to trust God, totally. Does believing in God exempt us from troubles and pain? Let's ask Joseph who was betrayed by his own brothers and thrown into prison, but in it, He surrendered and trusted God. One thing is for sure, all humans go through challenges, and no one is exempted...but the avenue we channel our worry, anxiety, and trust to, it's the most important. So the battle is yours to choose, will you trust and dwell in the secret place of God or you would depend on yourself in torment? God never told us we would not be afflicted or face hardships, but He promised He will be in it with us. He will use our challenges to birth something inside of us. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
Show me your friend and I will tell you about your future. One of the least talked about relationship is friendship. Most of us, including myself...I am very guilty! do not spend much time healing and being our best selves for our friends. In this episode, we will explore the benefits of having fruitful friendships and evaluating our close friend list. Meaningful friendships take work and I hope this episode blesses you and gives us insights into what true friendships mean in our walk with Christ.
We are WARRIORS, not Worriers. What benefits do we get when we spend so much worrying about situations when we could war about them? In today's episode, God came for all of us. He came for my household and my edges. We are created and loved by our heavenly Father and He takes pride in caring for us. But often at times, we tend to let worry lead us and be an idol instead of letting go and letting God. In Matthew 6:25-34, God compacts our overthinking and anxiety by reassuring us that we do not have to worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of itself. Do you know why? Because our heavenly Father is omniscient and omnipresent. He is all-knowing and everywhere. So rest assured, and W.A.R (Worship And Rest)
When Life gives you lemons…I’m pretty sure you know what follows after. But what happens when you don’t end up with Lemonade? What happens when the familiar process doesn’t seem too familiar anymore? What if the recipe you got resembles that of apple juice than of lemonade?
Life is full of curveballs and unexpected circumstances and learning how to make the best of it, it's crucial. God has promised to never leave us, nor forsake us. So even in the unknown, trust God has better plans for you as He says in Jeremiah 29:11.
Also, Apple juice might just be better than Lemonade, who knows…oops I said it. But that’s another convo for another day haha. Remember our God is full of miracles and nothing is impossible for him. So keep trusting him in the hard seasons. God’s got your back!

In today's episode of A Deeply Rooted Life Podcast with your host, Nani, we will be discussing the reasons to develop our potential. Our purpose in life, it's like a dominion effect. We influence and are influenced. Through developing our potential we are able to give God room in our lives to impact the lives of others. Fear can sometimes keep us in a "safe box" i.e. it hinders us to share our greatness with the world for the Kingdom of God. So step out in faith in the calling and purpose God has for your life...FAITH it till you make it!
On this first episode of A Deeply Rooted Life Podcast with your host, Nani, we will be discussing the importance and traits of the spirit of excellence. Perfection can kill your drive, and so can complacency. It is all about finding the right balance, or should we say the BEST balance. We hope at the end of this podcast, we would challenge ourselves to live a life of excellence and allow God to glorify his name through us.
