3 Steps to Leave a Sin Behind, may Allah protect us from all sins ,🥹 those that are obvious and those that are hidden , the major sins and the minor sins , the public sins and the private sins , the sins we have committed and the sins we have yet to commit,🥹 ya rabbi please ya Allah forgive usSins are not forbidden without reason. Every sin is filthy, harmful, and destructive - damaging the heart, weakening iman, and distancing us from Allah swt.To leave a sin behind, we must begin with three things: Acknowledge the reality of the sin - what Allah has made haram is filthy and harmful, even if the nafs tries to beautify it. Remember that Allah is watching - He is Ar-Raqib. Don’t silence the inner voice that reminds you that Allah sees you. Repent constantly - no matter how many times you fall. Keep returning to Allah until the devil loses.Resisting a sin out of fear and shyness before Allah earns a full good deed, and striving against your desires makes you a fighter in the sight of Allah.Never give up on tawbah.Keep returning. Keep fighting.
The video I read the subtitles of-“You’ll Never Miss Tahajjud After watching this! - Ali Hammuda” Qiyam Al-Layl ( The Standing at Night - Night Prayer) is a confirmed Sunnah. Qiyam Al-Layl plays a great role in strengthening one's faith and helping one to do good deeds. Allah praises those who have faith and are pious for their noble characteristics and good deeds, one of the most special of which is Qiyam Al-Layl. It is one of the means of avoiding the punishment of Hell and attaining Paradise. The Prophet pbuh said the best prayer after the obligatory prayer is prayer at night.Full Hadith:Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported that he (the Messenger of Allah) was asked as to which prayer was most excellent after the prescribed prayer, and which fast was most excellent after the month of Ramadan. He said:Prayer offered in the middle of the night and the most excellent fast after (fasting) in the month of Ramadan is the fast in God's month al-Muharram.Sahih Muslim 1163
-Sheikh Bilal Assad, Mufti Menkmay Allah bless every soul that contributed positively to get this story to reach us.Sometimes we find that we’ve fallen into pits we never thought we could fall into, darkness with no end in sight… but , Allah, oh Allah, He is the light of the Heavens and The Earth. He guides us out of the dangerous darknesses we threw ourselves into and grants us his light once again.May Allah gift us repentance ,accept our repentance, make us of those who constantly return back to him and grant us the most beautiful of returns to Him.may Allah forgive me, my parents,my siblings, my family ,my loved ones, my friends, may Allah forgive you and the whole ummah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم
An appreciation post for our mutual best friend 🥹 (even if we don’t feel deserving of that claim)Because this has to be the best friend ever A friend that picks up our calls even when we’ve left it for a year.A friend that manages to want the best for us even when we chose to be distantA friend that wants the best for us no matter what happens A friend that accepts us at every stage in our lives The book preserved by Allah for you and I🥹In this episode , I also shared a lesson I learned about the Prophet complaining to Allah about how The people abandoned the Quran, Surah Al-Furqan (25:30), the Prophet s.a.w says,"O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned," .the lesson was about the 5 types of abandonment of the Quran:Reciting itListening to itUsing it as a cureUsing it as a JudgeActing upon itAccording to a narration in al-Bukhari, the Holy Prophet ﷺ askedSayyidna ` Abdullah ibn Masud ؓ to recite the Qur'an to him. Sayyidna ` Abdullah ؓ said : 'You want to hear it from me, although the Qur'an was revealed to you?' He ﷺ said: 'Yes. Recite.' Sayyidna ` Abdullah ibn Masud ؓ says: 'I started reciting Suratun-Nisa' and when I reached the verse: فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ (41), he said: "Enough for now;" and when I raised my eyes to look at him, I saw tears trickling from his blessed eyes.'You can have a look at :The Quran playlist Sunnah.com to find any Hadiths My general playlist updated weekly with a khutbah

In the first episode of the season, we reflect on the weighty status knowledge holds in our dīn. From the very first command revealed “Read!” to the praise of those who fear Allah due to what they know, Islam consistently upholds knowledge as a path to Paradise and a sign of Allah’s favor. We explore Qur’ānic verses and hadīth that emphasize the responsibility of seeking, acting upon, and sharing beneficial knowledge especially knowledge of the religion. The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets, and those who sincerely carry and teach this light are promised ongoing reward, even after their death.May Allah increase us in knowledge that benefits and grant us sincerity in both seeking and applying it.Tune in and let your heart be reminded of why learning in Islam isn’t optional ,it’s essential.May Allah increase us in beneficial knowledge and make us people who live what we know. Ameen.

The abode of the believing people and we, if God so wills, are about to join you. I love to see my brothers." They (the hearers) said: Aren't we your brothers, O Messenger of Allah? He said: You are my companions, and our brothers are those who have, so far, not come into the world. They said: Messenger of Allah, how would you recognise those persons of your Ummah who have not yet been born? He said: Supposing a man had horses with white blazes on foreheads and legs among horses which were all black, tell me, would he not recognise his own horses? They said: Certainly, O Messenger of Allah. He said: They would come with white faces and arms and legs owing to ablution, and I would arrive at the Cistern before them. Some people would be driven away from my Cistern as the stray camel is driven away. I would call out: Come, come. Then it would be said (to me): These people changed themselves after you, and I would say: Be off, be off.Sahih Muslim 249. اللهم صلي على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد اللهم بارك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيدO Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Abraham and the family of Abraham. In this episode Nafisa reflects on a phrase her teacher said“We need to learn to love death, It’s the beginning of the actual life”For the believer one has to remember that death is the start of actual life! The whole episode is filled with many reflections of how we view death, why we might view it the way we view it and maybe a better way to look at it!* Notes to self:For the believer one has to remember that death is the start of actual life!So you have to get it right here , take with you the deeds that Allah will have mercy on you and grant you the best of the ACTUAL lifeSacrifice for Him swt and prepare for a life where the currency before you are given an eternal home is in the actions you took in this test of a life. You will get what you strive for. So oh servant of her merciful lord, look at your life , look at your calendar, look at your habits , look at the day to day activities you take on in this test of a life, are you striving for a good eternal home or the opposite? Are you filling your books with good actions or the opposite? Will you be happy to start your actual life today? Your eternal life? For a believer ( may Allah make us of them), an eternity of happiness, eternal peace, eternal love, eternal happiness, oh Allahumma inna nas alukal jannah wa ma qarraba ilaiha min kawlin wa amal Allah we ask you jannah and what brings us nearer to it of speech and actionsWa na uthu bika minan naar wa qarraba ilaiha min qaulin wa amalAnd we seek refuge in you from hell and what brings us nearer to it of speech and actionREFERENCES-Verse from surah an najm that gives her a reality checkوَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ ٣٩And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39Death doula video I referred to around 11:00Take advantage of 5 before 5 reference:Your youth before your old ageYour health before your sicknessYour wealth before your povertyYour free time before your busynessYour life before your deathhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDwc7NBGA6MInstagram
Do you know what month we’re in? 🤭Do you know the Islamic months? Welll we’re actually in a sacred month! Dhul Q’idah! In this episode Nafisa shares what she’s learnt about sacred months, how we can use this month as a time to actualize the better versions of ourselves we wanted to see right after Ramadan. Having had a dip in shawwal , where our bodies even physically could not do what we did in Ramadan, we rested and recharged and what better motivation than a sacred month where good deeds are amplified to make the most of and become the better versions of ourselves!!!🤗🥹Alhamdullilah! Listen to the episode for all the reflections May Allah allow for you and I to make the most out of these sacred months!(*****IMPORTANT POINT TO NOTE , Allah can choose to forgive one but in their record the sin is still there but it’s also written that Allah has forgiven it, then there’s a next level that Allah decides that the sin be wiped out from the record completely and then there’s next level could be that if Allah wills he makes that the sin is infact turned into a good deed)————————————————————————————“So there are four sacred months, Dhul-Qadah, which means the month to sit. You sit back, you do not fight, you do not engage in any type of warfare.Dhul-Hijjah is the month in which Hajj is, so there used to be a reiteration of Hajj in the Islamic Days. There is Muharram, which means forbidden. It is the beginning of the year, so it's forbidden. And then there's the month of Rajab, which is the only month that is not in succession, that does not come in succession. And Rajab means to remove and refrain. So you would remove your weapons, and refrain from fighting somewhere in the middle of the year.”-Yaqeen YouTube and newsletter on dhul hijja and the sacred monthsImam Tom’s Atomic Habits seriesQuran 9:36 - verse about the twelve months written in Allahs Record from the day he created the heavens and the earth, of them four are sacred.
The same way you go through things that no one knows about not even the people that are constantly with you or around youAnd someone’s hard on you & you think to yourself“you have no idea what I’m going through”“Be a little kinder”“Does it hurt to say things in a nicer calmer way”The SAME WAY you go through those things, everyone goes through it too sometimessoo…The next time someone says something harsh or their mood is off, say astaghfirullah remind yourself that they are human too and let it go.-> soo many verses in the Quran speak about making room for one another, tending to people’s emotions & being of those who pardon others.- my journal entryListen to the whole episode to listen to when the Prophet peace be upon him also had pain that was unspoken. And Allah acknowledged it 🥹 and responded to him🤍And reflections on trying to be “the ease” in eachother’s lives rather than adding to each others’ hardships🤍
Shawwal is coming to an end!! Have you fasted your six yet???Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:"Whoever fasts during the month of Ramadan and then follows it with six days of Shawwal will be (rewarded) as if he had fasted the entire year." Related by Muslim.
The last voice note I recorded for you in the morning of the 27th day of Ramadan 1446AH🥹🤍I miss Ramadan and I’m sure you do too.Listening to this I remember Ramadan more clearly, I remember its smell, its breeze , its feelings of peace and closeness to the most Compassionate Keep saying allahumma innaka afffuwwun tuhibbul afuwa fa affu anniKeep making dua for the things you want As my cousin said, you don’t expect to go into Ramadan and then thirty days later you’re a completely different person, growth takes timesso use your Ramadan as a stepping stoneAnd prayyyy Speak to Allah Because la haula wa la quwwata illa billah There’s no might or power except for AllahsYou and I can’t do it, but Allah can and if he wills it be and it will be.So shouldn’t we continue to ask The Only One Who Can We just need to keep asking🫶🏾
- Remind yourself WHY you’re fasting, and WHY you’re praying the nights, and WHY you’re searching for lailatul qadr - وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ, But ˹continue to˺ remind. For certainly reminders benefit the believers.”Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven, and whoever stood for the prayers in the night of Qadr out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven ."Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 2014In-book reference : Book 32, Hadith 1You have to go out of your way to not be forgiven by Allah, if there’s a deficiency in your fasting, your qiyaam will make up for it by Allahs mercy , if there’s a deficiency in your qiyaam , qiyaam on lailatul wadr will make up for it by the mercy of Allah A complete guide to the last 10 nights and lailatul qadr with Imam Omar-https://youtu.be/eUF_ByyQ7_M?si=WGZRXhgcS2pCHr6O- If you’ve stayed up all night before, you CAN STAY UP ALL NIGHT TONIGHT ( the last ten nights!) , YOU CAN SLEEP ON THE DAY OF EIDIt’s ten nights ! And it’s gone! a night BETTER than a THOUSAND months not EQUAL TO! BETTER!- The best version of you is the person you’ve been this ramadan, is the person you are the type of person that goes to paradise?? Are you the type of person you want to die being? - Reflect on- is the ramadan I’ve lived good enough for Allah to say, yes , I will grant you jannah, I will forgive this servant of mine - We have to prayyyyyy about the things we’ve given up in ramadan, let it not be a pause! Are you worshipping Ramadan or Allah!?- be in constant communication with Allah, talk to Allah, tell him , ya Allah you see what I am going through,Ya Allah help me, ya Allah I’m trying Dua is WORSHIP!And correct worship is rewarded ! By the mercy and will of Allah!- A dua from the Quran I recently started loving:رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِى فِى ذُرِّيَّتِىٓ ۖ إِنِّى تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّى مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَMy Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favours which You blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please You. And instil righteousness in my offspring. I truly repent to You, and I truly submit ˹to Your Will˺.”Part of Quran 46:15رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ“My Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favours which You have blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please you. Admit me, by Your mercy, into ˹the company of˺ Your righteous servants.”
A little sisterly catchup💗I know it can get super overwhelming when you want to do so much especially in Ramadan and your responsibilities require you to do other thingsWhether it’s going to school or tending to your kids or your parents, with everything you do you can intend for it to be an act of worship ! Allah is so merciful that EVERYTHING YOU DO CAN BE AN ACT OF WORSHIP!This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t STRIVEE and have a plan to challenge ourselves as it’s obviously RAMADAN but this should keep us calm, motivated and hopeful.————Hadiths to motivate us:Abdullah bin 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said that Allah, the Glorious, said: "Verily, Allah (SWT) has ordered that the good and the bad deeds be written down. Then He explained it clearly how (to write): He who intends to do a good deed but he does not do it, then Allah records it for him as a full good deed, but if he carries out his intention, then Allah the Exalted, writes it down for him as from ten to seven hundred folds, and even more. But if he intends to do an evil act and has not done it, then Allah writes it down with Him as a full good deed, but if he intends it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed".[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].——-It was narrated that 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of Allah said:"Actions are but by intentions, and each man will have but that which he intended. Whoever emigrated for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, his emigration was for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, and whoever emigrated for the sake of some worldly gain or to marry some woman, his emigration was for that for which he emigrated."Reference : Sunan an-Nasa'i 3437

Ramadan truly is a training ground for good manners🤍🪻Alhamdulillah for Ramadan! May we leave it having improved on how we treat each other.
