Many of these shows flew under the radar when they first premiered…and that’s probably why they didn’t last too long. When we reflect on the past four years, we'll remember the 13 soldiers who needlessly died in the Afghanistan withdrawal, the disaster of woke hiring policies and how that blew up in this administration's face, the mishandling of the economy, the vaccine tyranny, and probably a lot more things that I've already blocked out of my mind. But there's one thing I will never forget. Send all hate mail to fierybutpeaceful@gmail.comOr follow me through the week on Twitter @WeirdBibleGuy

This is a sermon I preached when I was pastoring at a church in Joplin four years ago. I share this now to reflect on how times have changed in four years, and what's remained the same. Depending on who wins the election this Tuesday, what might the next four years hold?Send all hate mail to fierybutpeaceful@gmail.comOr follow me through the week on Twitter @WeirdBibleGuy
AN EPISODE SHARED WITH PERMISSION FROM THE CONNECTING THE GAP PODCAST // HOSTED BY DANIEL MOOREThe upcoming 2024 November elections hold the power to reshape abortion laws across ten pivotal states, and we're here to break it all down. From Arizona to New York, critical ballot initiatives are on the table with contrasting approaches to abortion rights, like Nebraska's Initiative 434 and Initiative 439. We uncover the potential consequences of these measures, including the erosion of protections for women and unborn children, and the implications of taxpayer-funded procedures. By examining demographic data and CDC statistics, we provide a clearer picture of the demographic trends shaping the abortion landscape in America today.Transitioning from statistics to the reality on the ground, we dissect the legal landscape of abortion laws post-2022 Dobbs decision, unraveling misconceptions and highlighting the nuanced realities often overshadowed by political rhetoric. The harrowing case of Kermit Gosnell serves as a chilling backdrop to our exploration of late-term abortion laws. We also draw a thought-provoking comparison between unborn life and animal rights, encouraging a reevaluation of moral priorities. As we advocate for a return to biblical principles, we invite you to join us in embracing life-affirming actions and exercising your civic duty with informed voting. This week's episode is a little lengthy, but I felt it necessary to share everything I share with you this week to inform you of where we are with abortion in 2024. It's not a fun topic to talk about but we need to speak up and save our babies in America.Visit our website at www.connectingthegap.net for everything about our ministry. We pray you are blessed each week by the episodes we bring you. Please pray for our country and the upcoming elections.
The winds seem to have shifted in this final month of the 2024 presidential race. The Democrats are experiencing the exact failure I predicted they would have if they ran with Kamala, which is exactly why I wrongly predicted they would never walk this road. Trump missed his chance to define his opponent, and he also missed a golden opportunity to redefine himself. Will he get anymore chances to turn his campaign around before Election Day?Send all hate mail to fierybutpeaceful@gmail.comOr follow me through the week on Twitter @WeirdBibleGuy

I've said for a while now that we can't predict where this election is going because we don't yet know what it is going to be about. In 2016, Trump made it about immigration and Hillary's emails, and he won. In 2020, Biden made it about Trump and COVID, and he won.In 2024, we couldn't predict who the winner would be until we knew what the election would be about. And now we do.Send all hate mail to fierybutpeaceful@gmail.comOr follow me through the week on Twitter @WeirdBibleGuy
The scariest book I’ve read this year (maybe ever) is not a “horror” novel. It was a realistic fiction book called One Second After. Today, here are 5 interesting things of note about the novel One Second After (2008). Vague spoilers, but there’s a lot to talk about without spoiling the actual story within the book. It’s been a little while for me to find something that I wanted to talk about. For the next few weeks, I have some thoughts. Let’s start with Dune and this business of having a “messiah” to bring. Because we already have one, and he’s Yeshua Hamashiach, not Lisan Al-Gaib. And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, go watch Dune and then listen to this podcast.Send all hate mail to fierybutpeaceful@gmail.comOr follow me through the week on Twitter @WeirdBibleGuy

I couldn’t bring myself to vote for Trump in 2016, even though I came around to jumping on the Trump train in 2020. Why? I explain all my motivations and ethical struggles in this episode. I’ll note that I did NOT vote for Hillary Clinton either- that was never in the cards for me. But if it was Trump or staying out of it, I decided to stay out. Was that wrong? Today I’ll share some tips about approaching the news with critical thinking skills and how to interrogate an idea to make sure it’s true. I’ll also tell you about the best movie to come out of Hollywood in the past 3 years.
