Ep 10: Wandering the Wastes: Fantasy Forest Recap! PART 2

Last week we released a POD recounting our time at Cheltenham where we attended the Fantasy Forest, specifically as part of the brand new Post Apoc section, “The Wastes”. We accidentally managed to record enough froth for several posts and have managed to get the excellent Kit to splice us up a second episode. This episode, cleverly named Wandering the Wastes part two, covers the second half of the big pod that we did when we got back and an interview with the wonderful Kat Mansell of Stick, Stones and Bones. So join us AGAIN talking about everything Fantasy Forest and beyond whilst wearing several outfits and still seeming tired even though it seems to have been a few weeks. Finally: Last week's episode featured the wonderful people from Molinarius Games who offered the giveaway of a copy of Shoal for a lucky human out there. All you have to to win an entry into the competition is to answer the Following Question: What was the name of the Shark in Jaws? You can send those answers to us by DM’ing us on Facebook, Discord or Instagram or emailing us at ageektragedypodcast@gmail.com Feel free to share the competition out into the world but we’re not giving any further entries for our first competition! https://www.linktr.ee/ageektragedypod https://www.patreon.com/ageektragedy

Ep 9: Wandering the Wastes: Fantasy Forest Recap

Not long ago we made the journey to Cheltenham to attend the Fantasy Forest, specifically as part of the brand new Post Apoc section, “The Wastes”. Needless to say: We had a LOT of fun; so much so in fact that when we got back we spent several hours, accidentally, shooting the breeze about how incredible our experiences were. Whilst we were there we also managed to record a pod in front of a small audience and scoop up a whole host of special guests who recorded some short interviews. This episode, Wandering the Wastes, covers the first half of the big pod that we did when we got back and an interview with the wonderful Natasha Achilleos whose husband was the legendary painter and illustrator Chris Achilleos. His work includes book covers and series for Dr Who and Star Trek, concept art for Willow, cover art for Whitesnake and, of course, the Fighting Fantasy series of works. So join us talking, very excitedly, about everything Fantasy Forest and beyond and forgive us for a) being pooped and b) having to hack this episode in half! Finally: Last week's episode featured the wonderful people from Molinarius Games who offered the giveaway of a copy of Shoal for a lucky human out there. All you have to to win an entry into the competition is to answer the Following Question: What was the name of the Shark in Jaws? Ep7: Timothy Zahn and a Game of Clones! Star Wars Part 3

The Podcasters have returned to the rooms in their homes where they record in an attempt to rescue the final episode of Star Wars content from the clutches of the excellent music of Jon Williams. Which they could talk about forever but have moved onto books and Disney. Little did Mark know that the author TIMOTHY ZAHN had secretly written a best selling trilogy of books in the 90’s nor that the Clone Wars cartoons existed. When things are completely explained about the ultimate fate of Star Wars in the hands of Disney will it spell certain doom for his love of the franchise? And ultimately do our podders still think that Star wars still tells the inspiring tale of a small band of rebels struggling to restore freedom to the galaxy... After a lifetime spent gaming, larping, writing, prop building, film making, roleplaying, coding, cosplay, convention wandering and indulging in films, comics, tv and books, three geeks have gathered in one place to talk about the world they live in.
