Laura is mum to Elizabeth, Hugo and Toby. Laura opens up to Rebecca about her scary and unknown journey as a BRCA1 carrier. As a result Laura underwent a life-changing hysterectomy just ten weeks after she gave birth, she then went on to have a double masectomy, all before she turned 40 and all in order to prevent cancer. Lisa opened up to Rebecca about the tragic death of her mother by suicide and the impact her mother's struggles had on her life, she also spoke about the deep connection she had with her and her mother's love for Lisa and her very hard grief, Lisa subsequently lost her father and spoke about his passing and her relationship with him too. As a mother heading into parenting without her parents Lisa said she was keen to break any generational traumas and be a different parent to her children. Lisa also discussed her love for family life, her start in the beauty industry and her huge successes and how resilience and being realistic has always been a key feature in her life. Danielle opens up about her journey into hair-styling at a young age at The Sugarclub and how at the time she was enduring a very abusive relationship with her partner. Danielle escaped this man and spoke to Rebecca about meeting the love of her life and going on to having her happily ever after with him. Sadly Danielle suffered a second trimester with her baby and talks to Rebecca all about that loss, the trauma, the isolation and healing herself after such a horrendous loss. Aoife makes wonderful travel and lifestyle content and is one of the leading parenting and travel bloggers in Ireland, creating relatable and engaging content whilst also keeping it real. Clare enjoys a successful radio career in Newstalk where she hosts her own show, she also MCs corporate events and is a health coach on NourishYourself.ie.Clare opens up to Rebecca about the price of success, a time when burnout hit her hard when she was pregnant with her second child and working in breakfast television. Clare got back to herself and has flourished since and spoke to Rebecca about the boundaries she set when embarking on her successful freelance career.Clare also discussed parenting teens and the wonderful way children make time so much more relevant, how her and her partner work as a team and her more challenging moments in media.
