On Episode 11 Rebecca is talking to Founder of Chupi, Chupi Sweetman. Chupi and I spoke about her very unique childhood where she was raised by her mother Rosita. Chupi’s dad had separated from her mum and moved to London and started another family. Chupi spoke about the massive influence and impact her mother had on her as a small girl with her brother and how they were home-schooled, learnt to be enterprising as a result of not having very much as a child and had a smart business sense even as a teen when her cookbook was published. Chupi is very close to her blended and very large family spread all over the world and is tight with her brother here in Ireland. Chupi met her now husband when she was a young teen and they have been together ever since and she speaks highly of their very close bond and loving relationship which has weathered many a storm including their fertility battle. Chupi is a mum of one and had a very hard road to conceiving her daughter, she went through years of IVF and describes in detail the toll it took on her body and mind. Chupi talks about how she makes a 3 year plan and imagines herself in that place and what it looks like, she is now living in her dream home where her mother also lives with them making parenting a little easier.
