I love rodeos! I’m so excited to go to rodeos this summer, and wanted to learn the history behind the sport. I heard a tale that each cowboy would bring a section of fence to set up the ring during the very first rodeos, but turns out I couldn’t find that anywhere online lol. So today we’re gonna cover the true history of rodeos and the blend of cultures that made them what they are today. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! In this weeks episode, we talk about primaries versus caucuses, and what the differences are. I go over mostly Colorado’s process, but hopefully that example can help you understand your states process more. Enjoy the episode.
The Dust Bowl

The Dust Bowl

I became fascinated by the dust fall when I read the book The Four Winds by Kristen Hannah. It outlined a family, who had to leave their farm in Texas and move to California to try to find work. I am so amazed that people were able to live through this time and what it took for them to survive, so I decided to deep dive the dust and figure out what really happened during this time period. Enjoy the episode.

Well, this podcast started out as a history of astrology and turned into a sermon lol. Astrology is a huge cultural movement right now, seemingly even among Christians. But the Bible makes it clear that we are not to trust in astrology as Christians. We are to trust in God alone. I hope you enjoy the episode

I've been to Arizona a couple times and have to say that it is super pleasant in the winter. In the summer... not so much haha. We go over the geography, climate, state symbols, and history of this very interesting state. If you ever get a question in trivia asking what the last state to be added to the contiguous US, it's Arizona.
