Being Able To Detach

Being Able To Detach

2023-04-1226:47

Today’s episode is about how we can detach ourselves from people and situations that no longer serve us. The lingering feelings and relationships that we can’t seem to let go of, the situations we find ourselves in that we need to get out and move on from or maybe just something someone said that you need to stop overthinking. Detachment takes time and from time to time you will feel the loss of that relationship or friendship but you can work your way back to feeling better and moving on.
Sometimes we find ourselves doing too much around people we like that we want to like us and become blind to the things we don’t like. Today’s episode, we talk about over performing, how to tell when we’re doing it and how to stop ourselves.

It creates negative stereotypes for instance, people with depression always seem sad or people with eating disorders are always underweight, this can lead to a host of potentially dangerous problems for individuals actually struggling with symptoms and their loved ones.
