Paul explains to Gary Mehigan how his role as presenter of River Cottage would eventually give him the opportunity to teach people the wonders of food through television and show people that growing your own food can be a life changing experience.

absolutely loved the interview with Jane Kennedy, she's an absolute joy to listen to and such an interesting person, I would have liked more detail about the food she cooks and how she cooks it, will certainly be looking for her cook books

As a chef myself I found it incredibly dispiriting that the beautiful natural ingredients in Australia were not being used to cook with, I took a one day workshop with Vic Cherikov who's beautiful book 'The Bushfood Handbook' should still be available, & at Harris Farm, you'll find Spice & Co who package Wattle seeds, pepper berries, lemon myrtle and other Australian ingredients, many supermarkets stock kangaroo meat which is absolutely beautiful to cook, if you want to know more about Australian cooking look for The Black Olive on YouTube
