Jake has been in KY for 9 weeks renovating a house....In EP 42 Ryan asks him how life has slowed down since being here, but Jake thinks life has sped up since returning to the USA. Jake, as someone who has moved out of the USA and perodically returns, explains why he sees it that way. Jake poses some questions we can all ask ourselves about how we want to live our lives during our short time on earth.
After a 3 week break, Jake and Ryan are pumped to be back for EP41. It's daunting to be a human, so what if we assume the best about our fellow humans and support each other as we share this earth journey?
Have you ever been hurt, and as a result completely closed yourself off? Perhaps it was a financial investment, or a relationship. You were hurt, then reacted by closing yourself off to anything remotely resembling what hurt you. This happens to all of us, but sometimes we stay closed for too long! Join Jake and Ryan for parts 1 and 2 of When Wounds Kill Your Curiosity, and maybe you will be inspired to move on from some wounds and open yourself back up to new possibilities.

We're each wired to desire a feeling of safety, and we tend to feel safe in environments we know well, and believing things we've believed for a long time...it doesn't necessarily matter if those environments and beliefs are healthy. You can very much feel confirmed, seen, and heard in your toxic and limiting beliefs if you've held them long enough...Ryan and Jake explore this and more in parts 1 and 2!

Ryan and Jake discuss with great vulnerability why we all feel we must incessantly chase, seek, climb, pursue, grind, dig, consume, etc. What if we figured out less and loved more? What if we made a quiet mind a top priority? What would that require us to let go of? What if we needed less?
We apologize for the long break, but we know our PFH fam forgives us! Join Ryan as he interviews his good friend Greg Baca. Greg and his family have lived all over the world, and in this episode he shares why travel is so powerful to expand your world and learn powerful lessons about yourself and humanity as a whole!
Join Jake as he reads the first two chapters of his upcoming book, "Out of the holy book, into the heart." Share if you know anyone who'd benefit from hearing!
Continue to breathe, relax, loosen your grip, fight fewer battles, and die on fewer hills as Ryan and Jake explore the idea of why we feel we must DEFEND our approaches to life and our beliefs TO THE DEATH! Let's get to the root of it and see if we want to live life this way any longer. Welcome to episode 33 of PFH!
Do you ever look back on some of the things you used to believe, things you'd argue to death, battles you'd always fight, and cringe? Why will we fight so hard to defend beliefs that if we think about it, were programmed into us by others, and aren't even technically our beliefs!? How much more peaceful could life be if everything wasn't so important, and we didn't die on every hill needing to defend our beliefs or attack those of others?
Happy new year PFH family! It's time to face our shit and heal what we need to heal to manifest the life/income streams we really desire in 2024. If you're ready, this episode is going to inspire you and stir you up!
Would you like to hear the income streams Jake and Ryan are determined to bring into reality in 2024? What about their dreams for the podcast, as well services they'll each be offering in 2024? Well, this is your episode! Come dream with us in this two part series. Jake gets vulnerable and shares personal things regarding what he and Michelle are up to financially, and significant financial fears that came up for them this week, and Ryan basically coaches Jake!
So Ryan explains it best in the episode, but suffice it to say He and Caroline had a MASSIVE ARGUMENT this past week, and during it made a seismic discovery regarding how they express love to each other. We've never seen Ryan this lit up, and as you know, that's saying something! Ridiculously good Ep! Welcome back PFH family; we're stoked you're with us!
Complaining energy and gratitude energy both seduce us, and yet they each produce such different fruit in our lives. How do we find the balance between admitting a given situation sucks, yet remaining thankful, optimistic, and trusting of the universe that something amazing is around the corner? Are our priorities actually ours, or are they those of the ones who programmed and conditioned us? Should others submit to our priorities? And just when you think it's over, Ryan says, "And now, let's talk about SEX," and he and Jake get super transparent about the sex journeys of their marriages. Welcome back to PFH. Welcome back! In EP27, Ryan and Jake reunite after a 2 week break and launch a discussion about the journey required to get from knowing a helpful truth, to actually putting it into practice in everyday life. When things slow down, you begin to realize the difference between the programming you thought was you, and the real you. Slow down with us today on another killer episode! Ryan claims this is our best one yet....although he claims that every episode. ENJOY!
What in the world could a disclosure document for a house he's selling teach Jake about secrets, lies, and power? What could a 4 hour difficult conversation between Ryan and Caroline teach them about why they shouldn't hate four hour difficult conversations? How is having his properties for sale shown Jake he's not yet walking the walk of the spirituality he talks? Do you feel like you're in a season of the universe challenging you to walk the walk of your spiritual talk? We do too! Enjoy episode 26 of PFH!
When we judge other people's lives from our outside perspective, what we think they "need to do" can seem so simple, but it's not....it's undoubtedly more complicated than we know. Everyone's situation is a combination of variables we're not even aware of. What if we could create a more beautiful world, one closer to the heart, by empathizing with and rehumanizing ourselves and others? We may realize we're all humans in the same boat, and we should root for each other not just to barely stay afloat, but to walk on water!
Unforgettable episode. Once you see it, you'll never be able to UNsee it. Jake and Ryan are getting REAL and PASSIONATE on this one. Have you ever said something to yourself like, "Once I have THIS thing (name it) in place in my life, I'll finally rest." Then, you got it in place, but still couldn't rest? Why can your mind still not rest? Why are you still lorded over by the ever shifting, ever increasing list of tasks that feels SO IMPORTANT? How can we escape this inability to truly rest?! WHY are we unable to truly rest?
Are there people in your life you find yourself avoiding because they always need to be right? They're always trying to turn everyone into them? They struggle to let other people do what works for them even if it's different than what they choose? They're always trying to "convert" everyone? Do YOU do this if you're honest? Why do we do it and how can we transcend doing it? Welcome to episode 23 of PFH!
