The life of faith is a journey, and we need all the help we can get to make it home. A Word for the Way is about hearing a word from the Word of Life, Jesus and being empowered to continue on our way home with the Way.

Who doesn't want a fresh start? We all do and God gives them to us. They don't depend on us or anything we do. God has done all the work so we could have a fresh start.

Why do we continue to feast at the wrong table and on the wrong food? God invites us to return to him and receive mercy, because he has everything we need to satisfy the deepest longing of our soul. It's time to accept the invitation to his table and be satisfied.

This first Sunday of Lent as we make our way through the wilderness to the cross and finally Resurrection Day, we are called to remember our story with God in light of God's grand story of redemption through the text of Deuteronomy 26:1-11.
