Aberdeen returned to Pittodrie this afternoon for our first home match of the season, taking on Celtic in front of a packed Red Army. Under Jimmy Thelin, now in his second season in charge, the Dons have been riding high after May’s historic Scottish Cup win.While Aberdeen started with intent and created early chances, two moments of quality from the visitors sealed a 2–0 win for Celtic.
