Ever since the pandemic started, APN has covered the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes that followed. Given that our crew is mostly Asian, the attacks on the AAPI community have made the media coverage that Apache News does on this development very personal. Since the days of old, it has been an uphill struggle for women in this society--especially in this year's APN crew, where 16 out of the 19 members are boys. Nevertheless, KARC co-producer Safia Malik and APN members Clara Montenegro and Giselle Lai have always met the challenge, and exceeded its power. Today, they sit down to discuss not just their experience in the boys club that is APN, but their outlook on advancements for women throughout society.   This chapter is dedicated to the 47th anniversary of the Roe v.
