Nehemiah was a planner. He took some quiet time to go and examine the wall to see what he had to work with. He then came up with a plan and a strategy to rebuild. The time is now to work your plan and rebuild your wall.
In the process of trying to rebuild the Wall of Jerusalem Nehemiah came up against a great deal of opposition inside and out. Rebuilding your Wall will not be easy but we have to do like Nehemiah did. He prayed and stayed on the Wall. He kept working and stayed focused in spite of.
Nehemiah was a man of prayer. He knew he could not even began to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem without seeking the face of God through fasting and praying. Before we start to rebuild some areas in our lives to bring balance,power and restoration we need to follow Nehemiah's example.
Nehemiah was deeply moved when he heard about the condition of the people in Jerusalem. The Walls of Jerusalem had been torn down for many years and the people were in great distress. A Wall represented strength, peace, protection, security, and they had none. Nehemiah heart was burdened with the vision to go back and rebuild the Wall. Once you recognize your condition, the areas that have been torn down in your life you can begin to rebuild with God's help.
Hebrews 12v1 tells us to lay aside every weight and sin that so easily ensnares us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. It's time to throw off everything that may be a hinderance to you to run the race that is set before you.
