Students from Arkansas State University Three Rivers in Malvern, Arkansas, share their research from their U.S. History, Civilization, and Arkansas History classes. Our focus is on providing interesting nuggets of history in easily digestible chunks of 300 seconds or 300 words.

ASUTR Honors College student Christian Brashears continues his look at the development of the Silk Road.
In our study of Arkansas African Americans who played a huge role in our nation's history, ASUTR student Jennifer Arnold researched Samuel Proctor Massie, Jr. ,  a world-renowned chemist who worked on cures for a variety of ailments and diseases and the development of the atomic bomb.
As an assignment for African American History Month in February, ASUTR Arkansas History student Rebecca Beene reported on the accomplishments of William Delford Davis. Davis followed up his NFL success with success in the business world and is a member of the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame.
Curtis Nix discusses the roles colonists and Native Americans played in the colonization of what will become the United States.
ASUTR history student Hunter Henderson examines the Columbian Exchange and its effects on colonization and on Native American life and culture.
