Rigid curfews in college hostels continue to be a bane for a lot of students. From enforcing a strict dress code to switching off lights at 10:00 pm to not going out of the hostel after 7:30 pm, hostel students suffer a lot. Indian colleges and their hostel rules are so intolerable that they make students rebel. Female students, in particular, have to adhere to more regressive rules set by the college department. On the last episode of ATKT Talent Tent, hosts P-Man and Krupa are joined by singer-songwriter, Karshni Nair. Together they talk about making music in college and how she got into the Kadak Apple Records. In the second half, they are joined by Tejas Menon, musician and host of the Geek Fruit Podcast and they talk absurd college hostel deadlines in Mumbai and across India. She is an intern at Airplane Poetry Movement, Pune. She is also an active member of her college poetry club, 'It could be Verse'. Together, they talk about poetry culture in Pune and in other colleges across India. They also discuss the difference between regular poetry and slam poetry and have a more detailed discussion about Liberal Arts.
