Robert Trusko is a well recognized musician, composer, engineer, and producer in Dallas, TX. Philip Meyer is a software developer, artist, and educator based in Los Angeles. He makes devices for generating rhythms and melodies for Ableton Live, most recently a collection of several generative MIDI Tools for Ableton Live 12. He is also the creator of the Rhythm and Time Toolkit, and package for Max MSP for modular sequencing.  Philip’s goal is to create playful, intuitive, and powerful sequencing devices that help artists to discover new musical forms. Since that time he built up a hardware team at Ableton focused on making Ableton Push and looking towards the future of hardware at Ableton. His work at Ableton includes looking into sustainability, manufacturing and user experience – but his main focus is making the product he uses every day better for the variety of users who have adopted it. i wasn't really clear on the technique he was describing around 36:10. i know how to create an FX rack with 2 chains and pan each of them, either in the rack controls or with a utility, but as for the rest??? do you just make 2 different FX chains, pan each one hard left and right, and build each chain from scratch and assume that they'll be different enough to create a sense of stereo?
