Whether it’s not spotting tigers in the wilds of India or leading a retreat that didn’t go as planned, I’ve learned the magic isn’t always in what we get, but in what we don’t. Leadership and spiritual growth aren’t about controlling the outcome. It’s about releasing expectations and surrendering to what is. When we let go, we give life space to work its magic. Disappointment isn’t failure—it’s an opening to something much bigger. Turning Failure into Fuel: Releasing Control, Embracing Growth Here’s the truth: disappointment doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It’s a sign to pause, shift your perspective, and trust the process. Whether you’re a facilitator, a mother, or simply leading your own life, we carry so many expectations. But the truth is, life has its own plans. When things don’t go how we hoped, we’re being called to lean into humility, let go of control, and trust that grace is in play. Real growth doesn’t happen in the perfect, scripted moments—it happens in the spaces where we release the need for things to be perfect and embrace the unknown. Lessons from the Wild: Embracing the Unseen The tigers didn’t show up, but the lessons sure did. Sometimes, the breakthroughs aren’t in what we chase, but in what we allow. The signs, the lessons—they’ve been right in front of us all along, hidden in the wilderness and within ourselves. It’s about learning to trust the journey, even when it looks completely different than what we expected. So let’s walk through this together. There’s beauty in what didn’t happen, and it’s waiting to reveal itself when we’re ready to see it. Let’s find the sacred in the unexpected.
Want to walk deeper together? Reach out to me on Instagram! ----- It’s the grand finale of my Born for More Experience, and I’m pulling back the curtain on what it really takes to grow a spiritual business, step into your dharmic calling, and create a legacy that lasts. There are three life trajectories we all choose from—often without realizing it: The Default Path – where you devote your life to someone else’s dream. The Emotional Path – where you break free… only to sabotage yourself when life gets messy. The Path of Mastery – the rarest of all, where you become unshakable and lead yourself and others with deep spiritual roots, clear vision, and steady, disciplined action. Most people live in default. Some break free, but few stay free. The real question is: which one are you actually on? I’ll share: The psychological principles that explain why some people rise while others retreat. How my journey through bankruptcy, grief, miscarriage, and rebuilding shaped my capacity to lead and stay steady. The framework that guides everything I build: deep roots, wide branches—your work can only expand as far as your spiritual life runs deep. The three essential pillars I use to grow my company and mentor my clients: devotion, business mastery, and philanthropic impact (what I call holy redistribution). This is for spiritual entrepreneurs, yoga teachers, healers, coaches, and leaders who know they’re born for more—but need a path and a mentor to guide them there. By the end of this episode, you’ll see exactly where you’ve been holding yourself back… and how to step into the rarest path of all.
In September 2025, I took the stage at Shoshanna Raven’s Living Brave Live to share a story that has shaped every part of my life, my leadership, and the global movement I’ve built through SoulWork. This is a deeply personal talk about what it takes to rise as a woman who is devoted to both spiritual depth and business mastery, while creating a legacy of holy redistribution and meaningful impact in the world. The journey begins in the red-light districts of Kolkata, India, where I first encountered the raw edges of human suffering while working alongside survivors of human trafficking. That experience forever changed me. It sparked a defining moment in a cracked mirror, where I asked myself if I was willing to give up everything to be the one who took action — and made the decision to stop waiting for somebody somewhere to do something, and instead become that somebody myself. Out of that moment, SoulWork was born — an organization dedicated to training trauma-informed yoga teachers, leading global retreats, and supporting humanitarian projects around the world. Since its founding in 2015, SoulWork has: Certified thousands of teachers worldwide Built schools and classrooms in India, Guatemala, and Costa Rica Created programs that merge trauma-informed leadership with spiritual practice Crossed $3 million in lifetime revenue while staying rooted in purpose and integrity But my journey hasn’t always been easy. Behind the scenes of sold-out retreats and visible success, I struggled with financial scarcity, debt, and the pressure of carrying a global mission. I share how I went from being overextended and exhausted — running 50 retreats a year — to completely restructuring my business into a sustainable, high-profit, low-maintenance model. This shift didn’t just transform my business, it transformed my life. It gave me the space to: Renovate my grandfather’s home in cash Build a stable financial foundation for my family Deepen my spiritual practice as a lineage carrier in the Himalayas Expand my humanitarian efforts in a way that is truly sustainable In this episode, I also introduce the archetype of the Philanthropic Femme — a rare kind of woman who embodies three essential pillars: Spiritual Depth – devotion to personal practice and a connection to something greater than herself Business Mastery – the strategy, systems, and leadership required to scale her vision Holy Redistribution – using wealth to fund movements, support marginalized communities, and create systemic change This talk is an invitation to every woman who feels the tension between her desire for inner fulfillment, her outer success, and her calling to make a difference. If you are ready to: Build a business that reflects your soul’s purpose Step into financial sovereignty while staying deeply rooted in service Merge feminine leadership, conscious business practices, and philanthropy And become the woman who stops waiting and starts creating the change she longs to see …this episode will light a fire in your spirit. You’ll leave with a new perspective on leadership, wealth, and impact — and the clarity to walk your own path as a Philanthropic Femme.

This is the question at the heart of yoga philosophy, and in this episode of Adi Shakti Speaks, I guide you back to the witness state — the unchanging presence within. Inside, I share: How vrittis (mental fluctuations) deepen into samskaras (subconscious grooves) that shape our destiny Why silence (Mauna) feels so intense at first — and why it is gold for true self-knowledge The difference between intellectual wisdom (gyan) and embodied, lived wisdom (vigyan) The five steps of self-actualization: from self-awareness to self-mastery, to deep roots in spirit and wide branches in the world How noticing your patterns — even the smallest loops of comparison, blame, or judgment — can become the first doorway to liberation remember: joy is the mark of the master.

Together, we explore: The emotional, spiritual, and somatic layers of being seen Why visibility can feel unsafe for trauma-informed and sensitive leaders The energetic web of projection, admiration, envy, and misunderstanding My personal practices for staying rooted in devotion rather than defense Nervous system tools, energetic boundaries, and clearing visualizations The difference between growing visibility and growing self-trust How leadership is a spiritual initiation, not just a business strategy This is not a how-to for your content calendar — this is a heart-led invitation to walk bravely into your dharma. Camp Soul Dates: October 9–12, 2025 Location: A magical forest retreat in Illinois ✨ All meals, lodging, + activities included. 🚫 Alcohol-free. Must bring your own bedding 👉 Learn more + save your spot here: https://www.adishaktiglobal.org/campsoul ------------------ In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of Camp Soul—the emotional, spiritual, and tactical strategy that made this one of the most successful things I’ve ever created. Camp Soul is an adult camping weekend retreat happening October 9–12, 2025, and I’m sharing it not just as a case study, but as a living, breathing example of how business strategy and heart-led community-building can come together in the most magical way. 🌱 The Origin Story The original idea for Camp Soul came from one of my beautiful students, Darlene. She had a vision for an adult camp, and to be totally honest—I thought it was cute, but I didn’t feel the zing. It didn’t immediately hit me as something I needed to lead or create. But then… everything changed. She found this venue in Illinois and invited Kyle and me to check it out. At the time, we were going through it. We were stressed, bickering, pushing through the final stages of moving into our house. The timing was terrible. But I trusted Darlene and convinced Kyle to come. The moment we pulled in—pine trees towering, a red-tailed hawk swooping across the road, and that big camp sign arching overhead—I felt it. The place had soul. It was covered in tie-dye vans, obstacle courses, yurts, lakes, archery ranges, a food hall straight out of my '90s childhood. We got out of the car, and both Kyle and I were completely transformed. It was like our inner children came alive again. That night around the fire (well, a cold, wet attempt at one 😅), I knew—we had to do this. This wasn’t just an idea anymore. It was a calling. 🔥 Event Vision & Activities So here’s the vision we’ve brought to life for October 9–12, 2025: 🌲 Nature immersion: kayaking, archery, hiking trails, and forest exploration 🏐 Classic games: volleyball, kickball, basketball, and team-based fun 🧘♀️ Morning meditations (led by me) 🎶 Nightly DJ sets from Kyle under the stars 🛖 Cozy yurts or BYO camping gear 🥗 All meals included—classic, hearty camp meals 🚫 No booze—this is a sober container designed for presence, play, and connection 💡 Strategic Launch & Marketing As soon as we got home from the venue, I dropped a story on Instagram—no sales page, no funnel, just raw excitement—and registrations started popping like popcorn. It was wild. I offered it at just $500 to start (now rising to $777), fully inclusive. I set it up with a $108 deposit, with auto-billing for the rest three months later. I literally built the sales page after people started signing up. The momentum was pure alignment + energy. 🧠 Strategic Embedding in the Business Ecosystem Then I took it deeper… I decided to include Camp Soul as part of my signature mastermind, The Ascent. Now everyone who signs up gets a ticket to Camp Soul—either as a bonus or as part of their choice in live event attendance. This turned Camp Soul into something so much more than a weekend getaway—it became a community builder, a brand trust accelerator, and a powerful entry point for folks who aren’t quite ready for a $5K+ offer but know they want to be in my world. 🌍 Community & Legacy Let’s be clear—this isn’t a personal development retreat or a business training weekend. And yet—it’s also one of the most brilliant community-building plays I’ve ever made. People are forming lifelong friendships here. They're experiencing SoulWork—not just reading about it online. They’re bringing friends, which is building our circle outward in a soul-aligned, no-push kind of way. And now, I’m rolling out an affiliate opportunity for current attendees to invite their people in. I'll keep you updated on how that plays out...

This is the orientation into what I now call a Dharmic Legacy Brand—and what it actually takes to build one. If you’ve been circling ideas like “purpose” and “alignment” but struggling to turn them into anything concrete, this is for you. We begin with the foundation: your inner infrastructure. If you’re trying to build anything of substance in the world, your spiritual maturity, emotional resilience, and sense of responsibility are not optional. They are the prerequisites. I open this teaching by telling the truth about my own path: The loss of my grandmother and how it reshaped my relationship with legacy and lineage. My early experiences and how they became a compass for the work I’m here to do. Standing in the red-light districts of Kolkata, facing human suffering head-on, and making a private vow to come back resourced This episode unpacks the three pillars of a Dharmic Legacy Brand: Spiritual Devotion – Business as a reflection of your relationship to God and your own integrity. Excellence in Business Design – Systems and strategy that are aligned, intelligent, and built to last. Holy Distribution – Using your resources—time, money, voice, attention—to create tangible ripple effect I also introduce a core archetype that frames this entire model: The Philanthropic Femme. This is for the woman who: Feels an internal sense of responsibility to use her life in service of something larger than herself. Wants to generate wealth, but only in ways that are spiritually and ethically aligned. Understands that legacy is not a someday concept. It’s something we build in real time—through our daily choices, our business models, and our willingness to grow up and show up.

This isn’t about the hustle or overnight success. It’s about devotion. It’s about the long-game. It’s about becoming the woman who can hold wealth, walk in service, and stay rooted in God while building something real. ✨ In this episode, I share: How I went from spiritual burnout to building a business rooted in freedom, service, and sustainability The evolution of the philanthropic femme—and how I now give back at scale while staying deeply nourished What it actually looks like to walk the path of entrepreneurship as a spiritual practice My sacred 3-part framework for building a Dharmic Legacy Brand: devotion, design, and distribution Why I created The Ascent, and how it holds the entire body of work I’ve lived, tested, and now teach If you know you were chosen to serve something bigger, it's time to get closer.

Over the years, I’ve made some questionable choices—but I’ve also made powerful, aligned investments that have completely transformed my brand and my life. I break down the six types of ROI (Return on Investment) that I personally use as a filter for every big decision: ✅ Short-Term ROI – How I measure the immediate energetic shift ✅ Long-Term ROI – What future doors open as a result of the investment ✅ Mental ROI – How my thinking, strategy, and leadership evolve ✅ Emotional ROI – My ability to hold more complexity with grace ✅ Spiritual ROI – Whether it aligns with my soul’s deeper calling ✅ Physical ROI – How my environment, health, and routine shift to match the next version of me This episode isn’t just about spending money. It’s about claiming a future self that’s waiting for you to go all in. For years, Soul Work was known as a yoga teacher training school. I taught $3 classes in Costa Rica, prayed people would show up, led retreats, workshops, teacher trainings… all beautiful, but all disconnected little pieces. My energy was scattered, constantly chasing the next thing. Then, something clicked. I realized I wasn’t just offering yoga classes or trainings. I was being called to steward a Dharmic Legacy. A brand rooted in spiritual devotion, built with business and leadership excellence, and woven with philanthropy as a living heartbeat — not as a “when I’m successful” bonus, but as a foundational pillar. In this episode, I walk you through: The exact inner identity shift that took me from hustling independent contractor to Dharmic Legacy Brand steward. Why this shift was the key to building sustainable success with integrity, without sacrificing my values. How spiritual devotion, intelligent business design, and philanthropic impact became the three pillars of Soul Work’s next evolution. The difference between a freelancer hustle and building a brand with generational impact. Why leading a Dharmic Legacy Company isn’t just about money or influence — it’s about taking sacred responsibility for your gifts and how you serve. This is not about hustling harder. This is about aligning deeper. It’s about honoring your path, refining your structures, and expanding your impact — while staying rooted in why you started. I also share: How this Dharmic Legacy approach has allowed me to give back from the very beginning — through Seva projects, community partnerships, and meaningful global impact. My upcoming free 3-day event, The Aligned Path of Least Resistance, where I’ll guide you through this exact framework so you can make your own shift into leading a Dharmic Legacy Brand. “Soul Work is no longer just a yoga school. It’s a living, breathing Dharmic Legacy — spiritual devotion in action, business design rooted in excellence, and philanthropic impact as a non-negotiable.” If you’re a yoga teacher, facilitator, coach, healer, or soulpreneur who knows you’re meant to build something bigger than yourself, this episode is your wake-up call. It’s time to stop piecing together gigs and start building your Dharmic Legacy Company.

This isn’t just an end; it’s a moment to sit with the transformations, the real work, and the connections we’ve woven together. Over these past weeks, we’ve explored what it means to trust ourselves, to show up in our truth, and to build a community that values meaningful growth over quick wins. Today, we honor the spirit of this journey—what it taught us about living fully, leading with authenticity, and embracing our own unfolding. The Discipline of Showing Up: Trusting the Process of Real Consistency 🕰 These 99 days have been about learning to trust in showing up, day after day, no matter what life brought. There were times of ease and others that stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. But I kept coming back to this practice, and through it, I felt myself grow—gaining trust in my ability to give honestly, to be here fully, and to commit to my purpose and this community. This devotion has been a journey in itself, one that has anchored me more deeply in who I am and what I have to offer. This path is one of conscious retreat from the relentless demands of overextension and accessibility. As I lean into this sacred recalibration, I honor the delicate balance between dedication to my calling and commitment to my family, my health, and my inner soul work. Here, I’m reminded that true fulfillment is less about relentless productivity and more about profound presence—a reclamation of self that fosters resilience and a life steeped in meaning. The Pursuit of Mastery: Choosing Simplicity and Precision 🌿 This phase calls for a shedding of distractions, inviting a simplicity that is essential to the cultivation of true mastery. Every step forward reveals the necessity of releasing what no longer aligns, creating fertile ground for deep focus and intentional evolution. The journey here is not merely one of professional refinement but of soul-level clarity; it is a devotion to the nuanced work of becoming. This is the practice of honing my craft, allowing each choice to be a conduit for the deepest expressions of purpose, wisdom, and contribution—a practice that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary through focused intentionality. Embodied Authenticity: Realigning with Core Values and Vision 🌱As I deepen into this chapter of expansion, I embrace a philosophy of authenticity that requires rigorous self-inquiry and a mindful commitment to sovereignty. This journey asks for discernment, for a courageous “no” to anything that diverts energy from my dharmic calling. It is a process of refining boundaries and prioritizing integrity over the pull of endless obligations. In this sacred re-alignment, I hold space for my mission, my relationships, and my inner world to flourish—an academic yet deeply soulful approach to embodying purpose that respects both the mind’s rigor and the heart’s wisdom.

As we wrap up a full day in India—soaked in sadhana, connection with local children, and group celebration—I'm feeling the beautiful, bittersweet weight of everything I’ve taken on. Holding space for retreats, shadow work, my teacher’s teachings, and my community back home has reminded me that sometimes my heart is bigger than my brain. And while my commitments sometimes feel stretchy, this is the journey I chose and one I am fully showing up for. The Rhythm of Growth: Riding Waves of Expansion and Simplicity 🌿 In my journey, I see this rhythm emerge—a cycle of taking on more, pushing to the edge, and then finding a new baseline where my capacity feels aligned and at ease. India has amplified this pattern, with each commitment revealing both the beauty of new growth and the need to recalibrate. Soon, I’ll return home, where I can ease into simplicity and a slower pace. Yet each peak of intensity leaves me standing on higher ground, my capacity for life’s responsibilities and gifts expanded. It’s a dance of contraction and expansion, one that I am deeply grateful for, even in the most challenging moments. Living from the Heart: Trusting My Capacity to Hold More 🌱 True service requires stretching our hearts beyond what the mind can fully contain. Leading retreats, holding space for my community, and honoring my own spiritual commitments have all reminded me of the resilience that’s built each time I take on what seems “too much.” This path calls me to navigate from my heart, trusting that each phase of growth will settle into a new level of spaciousness and balance. As I hold this current load, I’m grateful for the strength that comes from honoring commitments, even when the journey feels intense. And I invite you to reflect with me—how do you lean into your own capacity, and what rhythm of expansion and rest works for you?

Each step on this land reminds me that true transformation requires both release and renewal. Letting Go to Grow: Navigating Expansion and Loss 🌿 In the journey of self-discovery, there’s often an unspoken duality. India offers endless beauty and wisdom, yet with every new level of mastery comes the poignant need to shed what no longer serves. As I move deeper into my dharmic path, I feel the mix of excitement and sadness that comes with growth—each step forward honors the past self I must leave behind. The teachings invite me to hold both anticipation and loss with grace, to embrace the bittersweet dance that is the essence of authentic expansion. The Art of Holding Space: Capacity, Courage, and Compassion 🌱 True growth is not simply about accumulating experiences but about deepening our capacity to serve. India has shown me that with each new level of spiritual mastery, I’m called to expand, to hold more, and to love without reservation. In this sacred pivot, I am reminded that being of service means holding space for both our light and shadow. It’s an invitation to cultivate a heart that can embrace the full spectrum of life and continue to rise in love and compassion. Through this, I find the courage to step fully into my dharmic purpose, stronger and more resilient than ever.

Loved this episode! It's interesting when childhood growing pains resurface and we have the wisdom and skills to handle them differently.
