Youtube Video Version: Jada Elam - YouTube Let’s think about shooting your shot in the traditional sense: you see someone that you like, you don’t want to let that opportunity pass up, the worst thing that can happen is rejection, so you take your chances and shoot your shot to see if you’d score. What makes that concept so hard to apply to yourself? Point 1: OPPORTUNITIES DON’T LAST A LIFETIME Point 2: THE WORST POSSIBLE OUTCOME IS NOT THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN Point 3: MAKE IT A HABIT TO TAKE CHANCES AND BET ON YOURSELF Moneybag Makeover Course www.greenlineplanner.com/private-class     Music by NYCBangers
Ep12: Friend or Foe

Ep12: Friend or Foe

2021-08-2018:05

What is a toxic friend? They can come in many shapes and sizes, but the overall characteristic of a toxic friend is negativity!  Point 1. What makes a friend toxic? The negativity can be explicit or implicit! If it is explicit, you can pick up on the negativity every time you hang around them. If it’s implicit, it’s harder to detect and it’s a lot of background shade happening They look to hold you back or stunt your growth in some way. Most times it has nothing to do with you personally, and has everything to do with their own insecurities, but that doesn’t mean you should keep them around They can be manipulative by playing on your weaknesses and vulnerabilities, and that’s what makes them soooo toxic to be around! Point 2: How to get rid of a toxic friend Option A: Make a clean cut without explanation! You don’t owe them any explanation as to why you don’t want to be their friend anymore… they know what they’re doing and it shouldn’t be a surprise Option B: Put a 12ft pole between you and that person. If you know what they’re doing is because of their own insecurities, and you don’t necessarily want that person out of your life completely… then keep them at a distance sis Option C: Expose, Educate, and Evacuate! This is where you expose them to what they’re doing if you think they aren’t fully aware of their actions. Then you educate them on how to possibly fix the behavior in the future, and then evacuate from the friendship! Point 3: Normalize making new friends in adulthood! Don’t get caught up on how long you’ve known a person! If that friendship is no longer serving you, cut them off! PERIOD. Get friends that align with your purpose and your passions! These friends will naturally come and gravitate towards you the more you focus on doing the things you love. Pray about it! Ask God to eliminate all of the toxic friends in your life and replace them with loving friends that uplift and support you through the ups and downs! Ep11: Empty Promises

Ep11: Empty Promises

2021-08-1317:44

Empty promises are the promises you make but don’t fulfill them. This is something I’ve really struggled with in the past. I would always show up for other people and keep my word if I promised someone else something, but when it came to myself… it was a different story Point 1. Why do we make promises that we don’t keep Most times its fear, procrastination, and self-doubt We know what we said, we know what needs to get done in order to keep that promise to ourselves, but we just don’t do it Point 2: The effects of empty promises LACK OF TRUST WITHIN YOURSELF! You’re creating a track record of automatic failure You let your excuses and fear win Point 3: How to overcome this habit Whenever excuses come up, recognize that it’s an excuse and laugh at yourself for trying to chicken out Whenever fear arises, remind yourself that never trying is worse than failing while giving it a shot, because then you ultimately learn a lesson Write the promises that you make to yourself down on a piece of paper and make a progress chart or put it somewhere in your room so you can see it everyday and remind yourself that you made the promise You have to practice and exercise fulfilling promises to yourself just like you would a muscle. It takes time so be patient THE APPLICATION FOR THE GOALFRIENDS CLUB CLOSES AUGUST 23RD!!! Application: www.greenlineplanner.com/goalfriends Music by NYCBangers
Ep10: Haterade

Ep10: Haterade

2021-08-0613:10

Once you understand why people hate on you, it’s easier to deal with it because you know it’s mainly a reflection of how they feel about themselves   Point 1. Why haters come our way   We are living in the success they wish they had and so essentially, the haterade is really jealousy   They are comparing themselves to you and they feel inferior… so putting you down makes them feel better   Point 2: How to deal with the haterade being thrown your way Appreciate it because underneath it all, it’s really a compliment. They wouldn’t be hating if they didn’t admire you   Block them! You don’t need that energy being put on you and the best way to protect yourself is to remove the people from your life that always has something negative to say   Keep your mentality strong by doing activities like journaling and praying   Watch out for the friends that act like your friend in your face but are really hating on you behind closed doors… if these people are in your life, you may not detect them, so pray and ask God to remove any fake friends from your life The Goalfriends Club application: www.greenlineplanner.com/goalfrineds   Music by NYCBangers
DON'T LET YOUR AMBITIONS SCARE YOU As an ambitious woman, my ambitions are sometimes so big that they intimidate me because it I know what it requires from me to make it happen For example, yesterday I moved across country, and leading up to my move, I was honestly scared I knew that moving across country was going to require me to leave family, get rid of 70% of all my stuff, and start a new life out here Most times, our dreams are intimidating to us because we know that it requires us to step-up and make changes You can't achieve your ambitious dreams by staying the same person, holding on to the same habits, and sticking with the same mentality You have to break out of your comfort zone, think outside the box, and continuously work at becoming the best version of you Don't let your ambitions scare you because it requires the next-level you, instead..... Look at chasing after your ambitions as an opportunity to level-up as a woman Learn lessons Try new things Get your feet wet And I promise you'll come out on the other side thanking yourself for embracing the challenge instead of being scared of it!   Green & Goal'd Coaching www.greenlineplanner.com/coaching Music by NYCBangers
Ep8: Passion Chasers

Ep8: Passion Chasers

2021-07-1121:32

Point 1. You did not choose your passion, your passion chose you! a lot of us try to find our passions, but it’s not like choosing an outfit, it’s something that is intertwined with your true self and true desires many times, we are operating in or around our passion and we aren’t able to identify it as such because we haven’t given it enough attention to realize just how much joy it brings us Point 2: Paper chasing isn’t sustainable, but passion chasing is undeniable love for whatever you do and LOVE is one of the strongest and most powerful things out there, so if you love what you do, just imagine the possibilities that could come out of that Point 3. Don’t take the fun out of it Be careful monetizing your passions because it can easily turn into a chore Set boundaries and keep control over how you monetize what you love. You have to protect it like you would protect anything else you love Green & Goal'd coaching: www.greenlineplanner.com/coaching Goalfriends Club: www.greenlineplanner.com/goalfriends Instagram: @greenlineplanner www.instagram.com/greenlineplanner Music by NYBangers
Ep7: My Purpose

Ep7: My Purpose

2021-07-0214:05

Point 1: I feel peace and complete trust Because I’m confident that I am walking out my path and everything I do in contributing to me living even more in my purpose each day gives me the feeling of trust that everything is going to work out in just the perfect way it needs to Point 2: Trust your gut and live as 100% you! If you feel like you don’t know what your purpose is, I know that feeling sucks, but I have some advice for you. Do things that bring you joy, put up boundaries to protect yourself, and live as 100% yourself unapologetically. If you do these things, your purpose will automatically reveal itself because your purpose is completely aligned with who you are at your core. Point 3: To keep living in your purpose, stay true to you and surround yourself with people who promote growth and development in your purpose Because your purpose is aligned with who you are at your core, it is beneficial to surround yourself with others that have similar or complementary life purposes. This will keep your days feeling fulfilled and purpose-driven. -- Green & Goal'd coaching info and application: Click here Music by NYCBangers
Ep6: Crown Yourself

Ep6: Crown Yourself

2021-06-2518:30

Point 1: Name yourself like you used to when you were a kid Going back to when we were kids, we would name ourselves anything our minds came up with, and no one could tell us otherwise. We have to have that blind faith like we did when we were kids. Nothing was impossible to us back then, so we made our claims about who we were. Point 2. Believe it before you achieve it Before Armstrong landed on the moon, he considered himself an astronaut, and before anyone knew Beyonce’s name, she titled herself an amazing singer. Whatever you want out life, you have to name yourself that first and the faster you believe it to be your truth, the faster you’ll start living that truth   Point 3. It requires work You can’t just name yourself something without putting in the work to make that your reality. If you name yourself as a professional makeup artist but you’re only scrolling on the gram looking at makeup but not actually doing any, you’ll just come off as a wishful thinker. But if you combine claiming your title and putting that work in, then that’s when you become a hustler, a boss, a woman on her grind Green & Goal'd Application: www.greenlineplanner.com/coaching Music by NYCBangers
Point 1: Get quicker at recognizing the distractions in your life We all have different things that are distractions to us that may not be someone else’s distraction, so it is important to understand the distractions that are unique to you Point 2. Understand your patterns around the distractions This could be how often you let this distraction throw you off, what time of the year this distractions usually shows up in your life, or even what makes you most susceptible to falling under this discraction The more you understand your distractions, the easier it’ll be to dodge them in the future Point 3. You can’t get rid of all distractions, but for the ones you can, do so ASAP Some distractions you can get rid of are friends, bad habits, boyfriends/girlfriends, drama, and other things that you can control To learn more information about Green & Goal'd coaching, visit www.greenlineplanner.com/coaching Music produced by NYBangers
The people you surround yourself with aka your girlfriends, are influencing your thoughts and actions more than you may think.  This is why it is very important to be picky about who you have in your circle, and who you choose as your girlfriends. Being able to level up with your friends is something that can only happen if everyone is mature enough to ditch the drama, ditch the competition, and truly support and love each other through all the ups and downs My best friend and I have been leveling up together for 10 years now by doing 4 things I discuss in Ep4 of the BO$$ It Up podcast.  Listen to the full episode to know what those 4 things are and how you can gain girlfriends that will help you elevate and become your dream you.  The Girlfriends Club application: www.greenlineplanner.com/girlfriends Music produced by NYBangers
